Re: Which to buy: X-Box or PS2
PS2 fanboy I suppose? If you hang out around here a little longer you will find that a lot of the regulars at this site have the PS2 and an XBOX. XBL is far more superior than PS2 Online. Who want's to deal with the possiblility of playing online with people who still run 56K in 2003? Get out of here with the 2 people noise. Who did you hear that from?"Never trust a big butt and a smile."-Ricky Bell

It's not really a matter of prefering one over the other. Both consoles offer different things. It's just good to buy both."Never trust a big butt and a smile."-Ricky Bell

Re: Which to buy: X-Box or PS2
I will say this. I have all 3 consoles and I have never had a hard time finding anyone to play on XBL. 2nd of all the performance of XBL blows any of the online PS2 performance out of the water. I am talking about latency and connectivity.
Playing my PS2 has actually become a rarity except for the last week or so, when I play HH. But I will be trading it in for the XBOX version for the better framerate, downloadable content via XBL and the use of the HD.
Personally you can't go wrong having both machines, but I noticed that I tend to play my XBOX a lot more than my PS2. Remember I am almost strictly a sports gamer though.
