My girlfriend used to play that waverunner game for PS2, but I forget the name of it. She was hooked on that, good thing it was a 2 player game.

This is where I consider myself lucky. My fiance' likes to play games just as much as I do.

My wife doesn't play video games. This is where I consider myself lucky. She never bitches about my gaming. She liked Wii sports when she tried it.

Bejeweled is an inexpensive puzzle-game that you can download on XBL; my fiance loves that game.

Try some XBL games like Zuma and Bejeweled. Most XBL games are simple to play so anyone can get into them.

A Wii is def the way to go or chicks seem to love singstar as well.

My wife doesn't play games often but she does like fighting games like Tekken or Street Fighter. I think it because she can just button mash and still come away with the odd win without truly learning the controls.

Normally she just goes and watches some crap like Gilmore Girls or Grey's anotomy on the other tv so i can game in peace which is great.

My gf has been going around town looking for Sing Star Pop with and the mics with no prevail, so I got her on Sudoku, it keeps her off my case and it's free lol.

Ever since I got my lady the Wii all the gaming arguments ceased. She used to have the old NES back in the day so once she found out Mario games were still alive and kicking she changed her tune.

She LOVES everything Mario and with the Wii virtual console she can download all the old Mario games and a few other oldies but goodies, right now she is Mario Galaxy and hopefully when I get a chance I'll snatch up that Mario and Sonic game for her.

So from my experience the main thing females that don't game as a true hobby like are simplicity and for the most part non-violence.
(I dont really consider Mario's fat @$$ jumping on turtle ducks and goombas too hardcore)
So if you can combine those elements into her gaming she'll most likely bite.

So I get a lot of crap from my girlfriend about playing video games too much so I tried to get her to start playing. Her and Call of Duty didnt do too well (1 kill in 6 games and even that was a lucky kill). Anyone have any recommendations on a game she might get into? preferrably a 2 player game. I thought she might like ROck Star but dont want to dish out $160.

Right now there are three games my girlfriend loves (all PS3): Ratchet and Clank, Uncharted, and Guitar Hero.

Rock Band. Even my mother-in-law tried it and she HATES video games.
