Had a little over $30 in funds on PSN so I went ahead and pre-ordered the day 1 digital version. It comes with all the pre-order bonuses and PS3 exclusive items.

Is digital version only $30?

I love Diablo and while D3 PC had issues I still love all that is Diablo...
I'd love to grab this but 60.00 is making me waver a bit.

Yeah, loot is looking much better on console.

I have almost full legendary in my mid-upper 20s. The console version drop rate is made for you to improve gear as you progress and not throw random trash like thorns dmg on your gear. ATM I am rushing to 60 inferno Master 1 to see how drops are with my Rapid Fire/Turret DH. But I will say that gear that drops seems to always be an improvement for my DH while leveling up. I don't know if you would call that loot 2.0 or not but I have firewalkers at 48 and that is not possible on PC.

Legendary weapons picked up as a DH on PS3 from 1-60

NV caps at 3 rather than 5
Rare and Legendary plans drop VERY often as well as legendary items on Master 1
Pretty much almost all drops had dex.
Perfect gems are 2000 gold and 2/2 of previous gem to craft.

Currently farming Act 1 Master 1 (Master 5 is max)

I have one set item that I wanted, hoping to pick up the rest of the set for the DH. Note that I am only Paragon lvl 4 so I haven't farmed much but look at my DPS Gear dropped is heavily favored towards your class but there is occasionally random drops that you can put in your stash for alt characters.

As for framerate, it's VERY smooth except for Act 2 sewers and Act 3 bridge/outdoor area where frame drop is heavy and your abilities won't show the graphics or whatever due to too much to handle. Dodge is useless for my DH since I am using vault (tumble) to evade, it doesn't give you invulnerability frames anyways in the first place.

My DPS could be higher but I am wearing Leoric's ring for +25% exp.

Wow i think Blizzard may have gone a touch over board with the loot drops unless Inferno is 100 times harder on the console version.

I read where the PS3 version had shared loot between players. Does that mean it's like it was on the PC, or does it mean (and I hope this isn't the case) that loot ninjaing will be back with a vengeance?

Loot is only shared when playing local co-op.

Got it. So physical retribution is possible if someone next to you steals your loot.
