I don't think it has a set release date yet. EB has it at 1/14/2004, but that's so far away it'll get changed by then.

Yeah what's up with this game taking so long to complete? I read somewhere that the producer of the game is known for delaying games. Is this true?

Well I had never heard of it but I went and looked at EBgames and it's being developed by Peter Molyneux which is the guy that did black and white. And yes, that game took forever to build and IMO was a pretty big let down when it game out.
For the 1st week, B&W was incredible and seemed to live up to the hype. But it soon wore off because gameplay and fun took a back seat to technology when they made the game.
Hopefully, this one's a little better.

Game Informers' January issue said it was being released in January 2004. They first heard about this game in 2001.

The devs still claim that the game will be released in Winter of 2003... that's straight from the horse's mouth over at the Big Blue Box forum.

Always the unfortunate part of getting exciting for a game with a general 2XXX release date, especially when you're already a couple of months into the year. Hopefully it will be early '26
