Finally got some good gametime post-patch yesterday and really enjoyed what I saw. Can't wait to see some more maps.

Sorry I abandoned u Eton. The power went out in my house... Didnt help that it was 1000 degrees outside in Southern Cali. Good games though. dont like the kids whinning about the game though, I can do without that.

myghty, no problem. you are right about the whining though. There are many people in this game who have HUGE egos and can't stand being disrespected. The use of the "N" word is high. Anyway, myghty you did good in the couple of matches we played.

Its nice to see this game getting played by a lot of users again. Socom has a huge following and rarely gets credit for it outside of its own forums. The latest patch really has the game playing a lot better and has the game to the level its should have been released at.

If 1.60 is coming soon with some DLC and new maps i'll be stoked, the maps are starting to get old but I really enjoy the game and its actually my favorite shooter available for the PS3, and i'm a big fan of the CoD series.

Yeah the patch has made the game play alot better usually the 32 player rooms still run choppy at times. The one thing I dislike in socom is the side to side movement when shooting it looks unrealistic and silly as if your on a slide board. If your shooting it should be more like battlefield where your planted more firmly when aiming to shoot not sliding all over the place.

Good games last night Few. We had a nice winning streak going there for awhile, must be thanks to you because I hardly ever win.

Hope to see some guys on today/tonight, I'll probably play before and after the Braves game tonight.

Yea that was fun. It was weird though because they destroyed us in like 5 minutes on quarantine and then we just throttled them for like 4 straight. They didn't seem to enjoy my "another *** wooping" comments lol.

I should be on for a few games tonight. The patch has really helped things out but hopefully they'll fix the grenade throwing in 1.6 along with the DLC.

I heard that Slant six has lost their contract with SONY. Basically this means that after fireteam Bravo that S6 wont be making games for Sony anymore. I don't have positive proof but I hope it is.

I think Sony dropped the ball by giving the game to an inexperienced developer. You would think they would want established people working on one of their A titles. Hope they have learned their lesson for the next installment.

Stormy, on the surface you right..... but remember Zipper has been busy with MAG for the last 3 years. Sony knew that SOCOM fand needed something. Confrontation is just a holdover until SOCOM 4.
