    How does this game compare to previous SOCOM's? I'm really considering laying the money out for it.

            It's an awesome game. I'm not a huge Socom vet, as I never was into the ps2...traded it in for an xbox back in the day and never looked back. But since I have a ps3 to go with the 360, I really enjoy Socom. I sent a few of you OS'ers a friend invite tonight...I joined up in your guy's room...shot hoosier a few times in the face.

                    I loved Socom 1 and 2. Hated the rest.

                    That said, i love this one.

                    Still getting used to the guns and such, but having old maps from those games i loved makes it really easy to transition.

                            After spending sometime with the game I come away with the feeling that I miss COD4.

                            I played socom 2 to death and it just feels like more of the same.
