I'm currently testing out the patch under a different username, it seems pretty good so far. Changes/Features that I've noticed:
- D-pad lean mapped the the left and right d-pad
- Holding down Triangle makes your character dive to the ground
- Pressing Triangle while you're spectating makes ALL on-screen text disappear
- Trophies added
- All stats reset
- Quick match added
- Transparent Scoreboard
- Faster Crawling
So far so good!Only problems I've come across is the amount of lag, which I'm sure is due to the amount of players logged onto the servers to try out the new patch. But once things settle down, it should be fine.

I am on the SOCOM boards and it says the stats has not been reset yet hummmmm
Here is the update list.
New Features

- Prevent incorrect reload interruptions There appears to still be some issuse with this
- Fix animation issue when prone rolling near certain objects.
- Fix remaining issues with statistics gathering and display
- Fix bugs related to equipping of C4 in breach mode
- Fix occasional audio drop outs
- Fix last remaining framerate hitch when other clients late join (Appears to still be present at this time)
- Fix remaining stability issues
- Fix hostages being affected by smoke
We need some sort of FAQ on socom.com about how to setup the controller schemes!
Or atleast a post/manual about it. There are far too many people having issues with this!
Added Features- Quickmatch is enabled now.
- Game Start Timer (no more holding rooms down) This is only for the Quickmatch games.
- Medley Rooms are reported to be in radom order now.
New Issues
- If your or on stairs and in prone and you try to get off the bottom part of the stairs while in prone you char gets hit with the invisable wall and you have to get up to move again.
- Lefty setup is broken. You need to be able to choose if you want to fire with R1 or L1 and not forced to use L1. (Not sure is this isa New problem).
- Oh when going to "Community" at main menu its slow especially when checking "Clan" because it takes forever for you clan members' statues to load. Game gets all choppy until all of em load, then 3 seconds later they refresh and load again (May be a server side issue that will be resloved)
- The XMB info does state what server friends are in and 8v8 DEMO but not which DEMO 1,2 or 3. I have also noticed that there is no 3.
- The game countdown timer may need to be increased from 25 seconds to 60 or more seconds to allow for more player to join.
- There should be a way to disable the D-Pad lean and reassign the buttons for those that wish not to use it.
- The performance awards are recorded, but if booted every goes back to 0.
Old Issues- When someone dies on the bomb so you cant pick it up.
- Late join lag/hickups
- If you push the start button when you are on the landing page/start screen -- before you actually see it say "Push start" it will freeze and you have to reboot.
- Server are still jumbled up. ( out of order )
- Reload is still long - doesn't seem to have changed
- There is still an issue when changing the Clan Color Option. The Armor Color appears as the pattern you selected before you join a clan. Although the Pattern appears as the clan color to others, on your character it remains the same.
- Spawn sync seems to be WAY worse as well. There are people spawning a good 10 secs before others in ranked rooms.This may be due to lag?
- Problem remains. When bomb is planted, countdown reaches zero but the bomd doesnt detonate. Instead people statr leaving until certain players (probably host) leave the game, then bomb detonates. This may be due to lag as well?
- I still have to go through all 32 people in the clan to get to the clan options button. It needs to be on the left side. Please move it.
- Quick select is still messed up. I have to change my secondary setting ever round.
- Round starts with 2-3 seconds of darkness. ( Will they ever fix this? )
Glitches- The one on Fallen that allows players to get outside of the playing area (Not the mountain glitch) still exists. Something to do with the fence.

It is mainly the OTS players. The classic view guys are not seeing the problems as much.Comment

Well night vision forces you into OTS, so whether you're an OTS or Classic view player(which I am), it should effect you either way. I hope /6 is continuing to address the newly released issues and not go on a break just because they finally released 1.3. They need to update us on all the changes that were made in 1.3 and acknowledge the current issues.Comment

I played some tonight. There are still a lot of Server issues but I think they will be fixed now that the patch has gone live. I get the feeling Slant Six tests the Patch on their own internal servers and when the patch goes live, it melts them down and they have to stabilize them. The good news is trophies are there(check awards on the menu). I will tell you this, they will not be easy to get. There were some control changes too. the D-pad lean left or right works very well.
