                This game has been off my radar, but looks pretty cool.

                I'll probably hold off on buying it with Fable coming out, but maybe will give it a rental...

                    Too many games coming out in such a close period of time. It looks like this will be a rental. I am still looking forward to playing it though, it looks great. The release date is a lot closer than I had anticipated.

                        Co-sign, I'm trying to see if I can make it through Dead Space before Gears 2, if it had come out during a drought (this summer) I would've picked it up, but for now it's a rental

                            In the end, Spider-Man: Web of Shadows is a missed opportunity. Activision, Treyarch, and Shaba were given a blank slate to create whatever Spider-inspired tale they wanted, and they put together a game starring a whiney hero, a foggy story, repetitive gameplay, and a focus on pretty combat combos instead of engaging combat mechanics. Web of Shadows is better than the last Spidey game to make it to the market, but that's not a ringing endorsement. If this game makes your spider-sense tingle in a good way, I'd suggest renting or waiting for a price cut before taking the plunge. Web of Shadows has its moments of fun, but they're lost in a sea of gafs that True Believers are likely to revile.


                            I'll save judgment for myself but things aren't looking good.

                                    Funny thing is I agree with the reviewer as far as Spider Man 2, I bought it on the GameCube and I still fire it up from time to time. Give us a heads up XLR3 and let me know if it's worth a rental at least.

                                        Hmm, I know two people who've played it and they say it's not an outstanding game but probably a little better overall than Spider-man 2. They said that the fighting feels more responsive than ever in a Spider-man game and although it might be a little repetitive, that the game is overall pretty fun. Said it's definitely better than a 5.7 or whatever IGN gave it. I'll update more if I get a chance to play myself but I wouldn't write it off completely yet.

                                                        Rented it today on PS3. I think it might look worse than Spider-Man 3. Fighting is pretty cool so far,feels like The Matrix. I HATE Spider-Man's voice. It's horrible.
