I never had this issue, but I don't suppose there's anything wrong with updating anyway.

I have not had this issue either, but would like to know that if I am at risk of having my game freeze up they are addressing the issue.

I have however noticed the game freezing up for a couple of seconds during gameplay, but I am still able to continue.

I haven't had any problems so hopefully this patch isn't like their Bully patch where it started causing problems for people that weren't have any before the patch.

Hopefully they don't rush something out.

That box art in your avatar is wrong. Just in case you hadn't noticed.

Yeah I know, wanted to change it up. But thanks.

My game has frozen twice since Tuesday; basically what the article describes as audio still continuing but visuals stop.

Same here Fresh, only froze on my once but same thing happened, could hear everything in the background still but couldnt move my guy at all, had to turn the machine off and back on again to get it working, couldnt even exit back to the XMB since the controller wouldnt do anything at all.

The only time mine has frozen is online. Once the first night, and last night it happened after a game and I went to get into another.

I had two freezes yesterday so hopefully this is true. It hasn't been a huge problem yet but I don't want it to freeze when I'm in the middle of something.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

I haven't had any freezes, but I've only played for a couple hours.

Doesn't any patch require a bunch of testing and certification by M$? I thought it took longer than a day or 2 to get one in, unless R* has had it ready pretty much right after release.

Mine started freezing pretty frequently last night after 3.5 hours of playing. I started up this morning and it froze once or twice within the first 30 minutes but it was smooth for 1.5 hours and then I had to jet. I haven't had to turn off my 'Box since the visuals catch back up in a minute or so, but it is still annoying as hell.

The only thing close to freezing i've gotten is when I was restarting a mission the loading screen was on for a VERY long time. The game itself didn't lock up as I was able to go to the MS dashboard and restart.

Other then that i've not experienced any freezing. I haven't been online yet but i'm betting that's the main culprit of the freezes.

SPTO, I haven't jumped online at all, just been playing single player. If you read the link, that is what is happening with my "freezing." Its weird because the audio is still going, but the visuals get "stuck" and then they catch up after a few seconds.
