What could R* add to this game that would make you want to pick this game back up and play in the Fall?

Well, add considering I havent finished the game its tough to say but I would imagine adding new storylines with new missions would work but I dont understand why Rockstar would do that when they could easily hold that back and put it into the next game if they wanted to keep the same locale.

Some side missions that open up after you beat the regular story

more stores for clothes/accessories

more people to date

while there's not enough in this game to spend the money you earn on, that's little reason to update the game for. MS didn't pay 50 million dollars for some shops and houses to buy. Rockstar supposedly spent around 100 million on the game, and it's done now. Expansions to GTA 4 should be somewhat less costly now, and 50 million should get plenty for two things of exclusive DLC.

My dream would be that it's something like a GTA4 Liberty City Stories type game, like the psp and ps2 games. The city is all there, but give us different stories to keep playing in it. They can even use a character already in the game to play as. I'd rather them go that route and spend time making a nice story and missions than adding another island from scratch and side missions for niko to play in for a little bit.

That'd be cool. Like maybe you could do some missions as Packie or LJ. I also read an article on MTV.com about the music of GTA, and they threw out the possibility of new songs/radio stations via add-on content.

New add more songs to each station. Radio Stations remind me of how they were on GTAIII where they were played in a pattern. Like you knew WHAT song was bout to play next as soon as I song was finished. And since the DLC is supposed to be coming out in August, they should add like a sports ticker where they would tell the scores of the baseball game on the radio or internet.

Actually, the order of the songs is completely random in this game. That was actually a point of emphasis in all of the prerelease write ups.

True true....maybe it's just me....because I always know as soon as Nas' "War is Necessary" goes off, "Flashing Light" comes on next and then "This is Hip Hop" follows right after that.

Real Estate for sure.. I also like that idea about playing in the same environment with different characters (or one already established). Another island would be cool.

I think they could come up with 5 or so different online game modes. It would be great to have a dedicated "gang" also -- preferably where you can customize how they look (colors, ethnicity, etc.) and war against other gangs online in the different game modes. Also, they really need to add a 'balance team' feature so you don't have to rely on these douchebags to get on the right teams -- at the least, an admin override for the team choices.

I wish they'd add the flamethrower (!!!) and chainsaw again. That would be glorious in next-gen beauty.

I don't know. I know they have a cutting room floor list of songs they wanted in that didn't make it, but GTA music is different. I'd rather have the songs that were meant to be in there than have it turn into how EA traxxxx does music. Madden would have stuff like Seether and New Found Glory just because those bands had cd's coming out.
