Loved the movie, could care less about playing the rerecorded songs. Another pass.

Seems like most tracks being released these days have to have some kind of marketing tie-in to sell some other product, and this is no exception. Hopefully the Rock Band Network will bust the doors open on this.

Passing on this for sure. I would like to be blown away by the DLC announcements more frequently than once every other month or so. Since the Maiden pack, there have been some good choices here and there, but nothing that has been overwhelming.

                Got a question.
Do I physically need the RB1 disc to transfer the music over to RB2 or do I just need to have the info on my HDD? I traded it in when I ordered RB2 w/o thinking of this.
                Thanks

You need the disc. Just rent it or borrow it from a friend.

That is pretty damn cool, but there are two issues (for me, anyway) with that:

One - I will still be knee deep in The Beatles: Rock Band at that point to even care.

Two - Pearl Jam has been subpar since Yield to me.

I just did two caps at 5:30 am Eastern time and went 1/2. This thing is totally random now it seems.

Yeah it was nice while it lasted, but I'm back to buying DLC. I'd rather spend $20 and be sure I can get 10 songs, versus 50/50 odds at $1.50/bottle.

And I've always liked Coke better anyway.

After going 48/48 to start with, I am now 7/13 since.

Any good deals out there on a RB2 Stratocaster or one of the new Beatles guitars for the 360? I see Sam's Club has the Beatles Rickenbacker for $78.66:

Edit: It looks like this would still be over $91 after taxes and shipping, so probably not that great of a deal.
