Sad to think about but this was the last time we'll need to post about DLC in this thread as the following week will be for Rock Band 3. Going out with Jimmy Eat World is pretty awesome.

Alot of really good memories with Rock Band 2. Crazy to think it's been out over 2 years. I'll never forget when I bought it. I took off early on a Saturday to watch USC vs Ohio State (which turned out to be a blowout) and then at midnight, went to midnight to get it at Walmart.

I scored mine a week early (which reminds me, i need to call that store again and see if they have it yet) - and just in time for my annual BBQ. It was stuck down in the basement though, and not too many people played it that night

We fixed that this year - had it setup with a projector outside. Too bad RB3 didn't come out in Sept though!

Actually now that I think about it, while My Best Theory is a great song (and their new hit single), the guitar portion shouldn't be all that fun. A lot of places in the verses with absolute nothingness, and it's practically the main riff over and over again. Well, for the most part. I might hold off on buying that one, and Bleed American isn't my favorite of songs (though of my favorite albums for sure). So far, the only song I'm really interested in is Pain.

Did anyone notice what was added to RBN this week?

I did but already got it for free in GH (and didn't like it.)

Also boo for no Big Bang Baby in the STP pack!

Just to remind everyone this is the last offical DLC that will work with RB 2. Not sure how much longer RBN has but I would guess that stops on the 26th as well.

RBN 1.0 will continue for the near future. RBN 2.0 is coming, but nothing definite yet. You've got probably at least 3-4 months of RBN tracks coming. (although some RBN creators might be putting their plans on hold as well)

wow. What a great DLC week to end RB2. Cant wait for Trippin on a hole again!
