Hit 14 or 15 last night and still loving it.

I really like how each mission string ends with a fun (and kinda relevant) boss fight. I never feel like I'm grinding, they break it up enough so it's more fun.

One tip, near some of the kill/gather type quests there may be some quests you can pick up nearby (people to talk to) that will give you xp just for doing what you had to do for the main quest line anyways...

They are always there for every mission you do in the game, some are just more hidden than others. Some places even have multiple people you can talk do and do mini missions for them. Some of them often involve collecting something from inside the building when on the third and final part of a mission. They are usually located right near the entrance so look out for them.

Very nice! I have seen several Heroes & Villains alike named after real life people heh.

I just changed up my characters look for about the fourth time (I can never keep him looking one way lol).

BTW sorry my pics are not as clear as that screen cap from the pc, I am just using my cell to take pics of my TV.

I love the game and all but i'm seriously getting annoyed, with the fact that I can't see pretty much anything on the left side of my screen, meaning most of my chat bar and I can barely see my XP bar I think that is it on the bottom lol. Hopefully it's just my TV is pretty old and not even a flat screen.

Just got lvl 11, after the Bane storyline when to go do the Queen Bee one. So much easier to just plow through that instance when things are 2-3 lvls below you, prolly go do the Raven one as well before I move on to the lvl 12 missions I have.

you can adjust your screen in the settings menu...
this happened to me too when I first booted up the game... but just head over to the settings tab and adjust until its all on the screen.
sorry, i forget the name of the setting... its a slider bar

I just picked this game up on Friday, at first I really wasn't into it but after a few story arcs it's gotten much better. Right now I am level 16 on Birthright also, name of character is Heat Check (hero alliance) I'm still getting the hang of this game, but if anyone wants to play along with me feel free to add my character to your friends list, or you can add my PSN: MarvellOne

                    Re: DC Universe Online (PS3)

Finally started raiding, Duos, Hard alerts the last two days. Man things are much harder at 30 then on the way to getting there. I exclusively now play in my Tank stance because in my DPS stance my health goes down quickly.

I luckily have found a couple of guys who I play regularly with and they have been helping me out with a lot of this. I have changed leagues because of this, I transferred the Leader title of the OS League to Vigalant.

Being in this monster sized league of all 30 leveled guys (and girls) in full sets of Tier 1 & 2 Armor is indeed inspiring and overwhelming. It is also strange to see constant text going by on the right side of the screen that isn't /shout. It is /league and it is full of requests for controllers/healers/tanks for "so & so" raids/alerts what have you.

I'm still always available to help anyone out should they need it, right now I'm saving all my in game currency & loot drops and banking it all. Mainly because when this new update/patch drops (around the 14th or so) it is going to have an in game Auction house. A lot of us will be able to buy / sell nice gear. I already have some real nice lower leveled gear ready to sell when the house is up. I'm sure players will pay a little more than the damn in game vendors pay.

Where do you go to buy the 3 month plan for PS3? Great price, but can't find anywhere online via PSN to buy it, is it only on the console itself?

                        ^^LMAO at Tebow.

Is there any way we can have an updated list of who plays this game?
And whether or not they are a villian or hero?

                        This would help greatly..
EDIT: And as I posted this I just put in DC Online and got prompted for update 1.04!

I made Level 10 tonight. So far the missions have been getting better as I level up. The Bane mission was a bit more enjoyable than the Scarecrow one. I was able to get a 100 shot counter in that one.

Hey speaking of which..when the game gives you a feat like say 100 X and then it lists some points underneath the feat...what are the points for? Thanks.

the points for feats will unlock additional skill points that can be used toward your weapon or movement skills.

for now it just pops up as an option during a loading screen... the one where lex, batman, superman and wonder woman are in a ship over looking the earth.
