It would have been nice if those that didn't buy General Knoxx also got the update for going to the level 61 cap. That way they could scale the entire game again. This way those of us that have Knoxx can go back and not over power the heck out of bosses for the 3rd go.

yes, this is a big issue with the game and there are some that are trying to make their voices heard at the official Gearbox forums. I know I planned to go back and beat some bosses again to get better versions of their weapons but that's just not possible now. I imagine they will find a way to fix it in the future, but probably not until the next set of DLC comes out.

Another issue is Crawmerax. Not sure if anybody else here has tried to fight him yet but he is damn near impossible. You need a lot of stuff just to be able to attempt to make it to the end of the fight and even then it's still difficult. Also, unless you play with friends he is nearly unbeatable. I know some people have had luck at soloing him but those are experts. The only way to beat him solo is you're Lilith, obviously because of the phasewalk. If anybody wants tips for Crawmerax let me know and I'd be happy to put some in spoiler tags.

For xbox 360 the Zombie Island DLC is on sale this week (4/19 to 4/25) for 400 points/$5. That's 1/2 off the regular price.

This game was recommended to me by my cousin recently, I finally found it for a decent price ($20) used. I guess it came out about a year ago? I have to say, it totally flew under my radar.

The beginning with Cage the Elephant was superb, played it for about an hour today. I have to say, it's definetly different, I like it so far. So we will see...

If you get into the game I totally recommend the Gen Knox Armory DLC. It was great. I liked it better than the retail game.

I have only the stock Borderlands. But I love this game. It is a great, jump in and play for hours as time just disappears type of game.

for anybody who is interested, new DLC is on the way "soon" according to a Gearbox rep. It was confirmed on the official Gearbox/Borderlands message board. I am hoping it's as large as Knoxx was, that was some incredible DLC.
