 Re: Borderlands

Bought all the DLC and just started playing this a few days ago. Really enjoying it so far. Takes some time to go through if you do all of the side quests, which I've been doing.

Can anyone advise what the max level is for a character? 50, 60, other?Comment

 Re: Borderlands

Only lvl 30 now, but see there's an achievement for making it to level 61, so I know it at least goes that high now. Wanted to know in order to have a better idea of how to distribute points when leveling.Comment

Just opened the Vault. Disappointing ending for all that work, but still a great game overall.Comment

 Re: Borderlands

I've spent the last couple of days playing through the DLC for the game, and I have to applaud 2K's approach to DLC for Borderlands. I'm not sure what it went for when it was new, but believe I paid around 400 points ($4) for each one, and each one is well worth that price and more. There's quite a few new missions, and the stories were pretty darn good to boot.

I have very few complaints with the DLC overall. The only one I found a little wanting was the Moxxi's Arena as it's so repetitious and there's no save points when playing a section forcing a gamer to play through all 5 rounds (25 missions) making for an unexpectantly long play through session the first time through. Only other complaint I'd have is there is no way to warp to locations as in the other maps. Small complaint, but forces a lot of backtracking / time sink when a simple waypoint/warp would have made things much quicker to navigate.

Great game 2K! I dislike first person shooters, but this one has won me over with ease.Last edited by Valdarez; 01-14-2013, 08:07 AM.Comment

I especially enjoyed the zombie island dlc. Re: Borderlands

Agreed. Though now I'm through there are several achievements for collecting items that are extremely repetitive, and I didn't find the one for the Brains one until I had finished the entire DLC. Had to go back through and hit nearly 500 headshots (criticals) to get the brains. Made for some long play sessions. Still... killing zombies never gets old. Re: Borderlands

Was my favorite game I ever played and was so damn fun. I went with Mordecai since i liked sniping and his ability was a nice *** ability to have. Played through all the DLC and beat them and got to Level 47 before I let my friend play it and never got it back. The first legendary I ever got was a Sniper called the Skullcrusher.Comment
