Latest Borderlands patch apparently details the next add-on

The next expansion—the follow-up to The Secret Armory of General Knoxx—appears to be heavy on Claptraps. You know, those unicycling robotic helpers with the funny voices? Well, you may be fighting them and cybernetic zombies in the game's next add-on.

Gearbox forum member Legendrew summarizes the details gleaned from the latest patch, telling of an "Interplanetary Ninja Assassin Claptrap" that leads a robot revolution against the Vault hunters. Your task in the next DLC pack is to take down those Claptraps and the re-animated human-Claptrap hybrids they've enlisted for their cause.

Skag 'traps, Rakk 'traps, Psycho Midget 'traps and dozens of variations on the Claptrap, only way more evil, will be your enemies in the expansion, according to those update files. The DLC appears to span some 21 missions—"9 Main Missions, 12 Side Missions"—and will see plenty of familiar faces return.

Played this game for the 1st time with my friend last night. We played co-op for 5-6hrs and got to Lvl 12 for both of us. A really fun game and I cant believe its taken me this long to play it.

I finally finished the main story around level 35.

I thought I'd be getting some great loot at the end from the vault. Oh well.

I'm not sure whether I want to to start second play through with my current character or a start new game with a different character.

well, either way it's fun because Borderlands is a great game. However, if you're in search of awesome loot then continuing with your current character on a second playthrough will net you some great stuff. Also, if you have the General Knoxx expansion or plan on getting it, there are some items specific to that DLC that you can't find anywhere else in the game. Not only is the Knoxx DLC a lot of fun, but there are two bosses near the end that produce e-p-i-c loot, and one can be battled as many times as you'd like.

Get General Knox armory. Before ya get to the armory there is a glitch that alows you to do a part over and over again.

that's assuming he is willing to glitch for extra items. Not here to preach, but I always preferred to find all my items legitimately because it was more fun that way.

I agree and in perspective the best loot is droped from Crawmerax and the Armory weapons are pretty much crap....lol. I just liked opening up chests..... I have a special char for that glitch incase I want to just open the chests up. I know I need help. Everything on all my Chars are legit Crawmerax drops...Man he is a bitch to kill with 4 peeps on playthrough 2.

I have a special char for that glitch incase I want to just open the chests up. I know I need help. Agreed on Crawmerax/Armory. Crawmerax actually dropped some awesome stuff, the three runs I had through the Armory were ****. I ended up selling everything I got from there except a rocket launcher and a double anarchy.

I'm with you on the chests, too. I play this game a lot through coop with a friend and he almost refuses to play with me any more because of my obsession of finding and opening chests.

Idk what the obsession with them are, I mean I know that most of the time they are **** but I love doing it. I am also looking for the legit tsunami SMG. The way it shoots is amazing but everyone just has the Modded one thats doesnt even shoot right....

I just rented this game last night, I tried playing online, but a bunch of level 61 people joined my game and just destroyed everyone, it was no fun for me so I quit.

The game is super fun, I just wish I had some friends that played it too to do co-op with.

What's this game's multiplayer like? Is it co-op only? Or does it have game modes like Team Deathmatch, Free For All, etc?
