Doom 3 mods

Does anyone konw if there's any mod for Doom 3, that makes the game more like a modern FPS instead of sci-fi FPS?

The only really good mod I saw for Doom3 was the Classic Doom mod, which was a reimagination of "Knee Deep In The Dead" from the original Doom game.

You might try looking at planetdoom.com, though.

OK, so I'm bringing this thread back to life, this time I thought it would be nice if people sahred the mods they like the most.
I found videos of a Far Cry 1 mod called Delta Sector. I still haven't tried it (need to get FC again, first), but it looks amazing. I mean, the graphics really look next-gen, which proves that the original engine was very powerful.
The first minute+ shows the original Far Cry, then you'll see the mod. I think it looks great!
