Luv the realism of the cape. I know silly but just looks hawt!

Its definitely worth the money only problem I have is their no new game + mode to my knowledge.

I was hopin I would be able to go through the game again with a powered up Batman.

I hope that once the game officially releases someone can confirm whether its in or not because it would make all the more fun to me.

just beat the game damn that was a intense ending i loved every bit of this game..... cant wait for some new DLC or something hopefully.

i agree with jano its always good to have a plan b and c because of the amount of enemies there are you have to be a creative bat
after you beat the game you can go back to it and see what u missed pick it up.

damn it was a sick start to end i couldnt have spent a better 65 bucks on a game that i really really enjoyed.

it puts the spiderman series to shame... and i really hope there is a sequel to this ...

Yea Normal level for me as well.

I was kinda hoping the Joker would resemble the Heath Ledger Joker. That would have roxored. In his honor.

I wouldn't know for sure, but this game was probably in pre-production before The Dark Knight was even filmed. Once you're past that stage you don't want to change much of anything.

Not to say they would have considered something like that anyway, but I would have been more appreciative (it's really the only look of Batman that I'm a real fan of).

                  Re: Batman: Arkham Asylum

Normal and I'm glad I did there were some parts that would have been pretty difficult to do on a first run through on hard. The fights in the demo don't do the game much justice because the later fights can get tough.

Without the little flash for counters I wouldve been in a lot of trouble because they throw a lot of enemies at once. The most I fought was 20 but that was a special case.

Usually the most I would go up against was like roughly 10. This game is definitely not a button masher especially in the later sections where timing hits and counters are crucial.

Not to mention on hard the enemies can take lots more damage and they deal out more also.

I would suggest people start on normal unless you feel like you have mastered the combat system. And you feel comfortable with the predator sections because they start off easy but will require even more patience and planning on hard as you get deeper in the game.

Overall I felt challenged on normal, the enemies weren't push overs and I felt like I was still getting the full experience.

The game punished me when I was impatient or fighting too recklessly. I never felt like the game was too easy the difficulty was just right to me.

I doubt I'll play this game more than once after I beat it. Not sure if it was worth dishing out the money, although I do love playing as Batman. You guys have already beat it so the game seems pretty short...

I'm glad they went an all original look instead of ripping off The Dark Knight. For some reason, it always pissed me off how after the X-Men movie came out Wolverine was always depicted in the comics with wavy hair and claws that popped out from in between his fingers.

Moses, games these days aren't long man, but I have read on a few other forums that guys did end up beating the game in the 12-15 hour range. For me, that is fairly lengthy the older I get w/ less time being devoted to games.

Yeah, I understand. I mean I wouldn't want them to appear the Joker anywhere near what Ledger looked like if they weren't intending on going all out with a Nolan universe Batman, and I think that most people on here were excited that they finally got a video game that truly replicated what we have seen in the comics for most of our life. I mean the combat and such would not have been the same if it was Nolanized, neither would the atmosphere or baddies that you fight in general.

So it makes sense for them to do what they did. I guess I never really liked watching anything Batman before Nolan's image but I guess I was "disappointed" when I found the voice actor didn't go about the Joker like Ledger did, but if he is the original then I guess that is how it is supposed to be, per se.

I'm thinking this game is more of a ten day rental for me and I'll just play it non-stop until I beat it. Should be fun enough since the demo was and I can hopefully pick up some trophies.

True. I guess the only single player game I can count on for replay value is MGS.

Well, GTA is an example of a game where, even if you only played the missions and did nothing else, it's still a 20 - 25 hour game. Combine that with everything else that you can do and you have yourself a long time playing.

My favorite line in the game:

"Tell me Bats. What are you really scared of? Failing to save this cesspool of a city? Not finding the commissioner in time? Me, in a thong?"

Man this one cracked me up had to pause the game because I was laughing so hard.

The delivery on the line was perfect and after saying thong he starts laughing.

But what made it even funnier was the way he laughed it seemed like the image disturbed him too Lol.

And he seemed so serious before the thong part I thought he was going to try and have a convo w/ Batman.

I forgot how great Mark Hamill was as the Joker his voice is perfect.
