Press packages of the game are pretty awesome. The game comes with a straight-jacket.

if you have a toys-r-us rewards card, they are giving you a $30 gift card in return if you purchase the game on tuesday between 10 am and 2 pm. it is free to sign up (although i'm not certain if you had to be a previous member or if you can do it the day of). i believe if you are not a member that you still can get a $20 gift card in return.

mind you, you don't get the money off the game, but it's like handing you thirty bucks for nothing. i believe this is a universal sale. you might want to call them and see.

my wife and i have 4 young kids under 10, so we've made use of this membership, and it's especially nice at christmas.

I'm supposed to have release-date delivery on amazon, but when I look at the status of my order it tells me "Shipping soon." What's up with that? I better be getting this tomorrow..

And installed... was actually a pretty damn sweet install. They had some creepy haunted house-esque music playing with joker cackling periodically in the background.

Game time.

Graphics are just outstanding. Intro is similar to demo, but much more involved and fleshed out.

Voice acting is phenomenal.

It could just be placebo effect, but the graphics and controls just seem that much more refined in the retail. Oh, and I got my first trophy for having a hit combo of five, lol... I rock :P

Finding all these Riddler trophies is going to be fun though.

What an atmospheric game. The entire beginning scene just felt like a movie, and you could just feel something was going to go wrong. Very cool stuff.

I have to reiterate how damn refined this game is, from the visual and acting, to the controls. Outstanding.
