Harley is sorta hot... gotta love those crazies, lol.

It's pretty sweet hwo you can still use your batarang in zoom view. I don't know what the point is of killing the little chomping teeth, but it's fun to do.

It looks like there are certain areas (secrets) you will be able to come back to later and get into once more equipment is obtained.

        [EDIT]

It was genius to include these Character Bios. The artwork used to draw them is superb, and the bits of info they give is very neat. Adds a lot of depth to the story.

Alright guys, it's bed time... just to reiterate, the game is a spectacular singler player experience. Easily the best super hero game I've played.

          Hope everyone enjoys this tomorrow!

The teeth are apart of the riddlers challenge you're supposed to break 20 of them in each section.

                Re: Batman: Arkham Asylum

                Real quick impressions:

Game is freakin awesomesauce. The intro has more in it than the demo, as well as what was mentioned earlier about the controls and combat feeling better overall. As you level you unlock new combos and such. I remember unlocking a throw technique where you hit 'A' then 'X'. The intro where you are walking in with the joker just doesnt get old. And the complex seems pretty damn freakin big the further in you go. There also seems to be multiple paths you can take, though i am not sure cause i was too tired when i was given another task to complete (no spoilers on what in order to preserve the story )

It was almost 2am last night when i stopped playing, but i just got done with the first 'mini boss' then checked my progress, and had 1% done with about an hour or so of gaming.

When i finally stopped, i went to the title screen and read the free downloadable content was already on its way!

yes, game is fantastic with an hour of play.

mind you, you don't get the money off the game, but it's like handing you thirty bucks for nothing. i believe this is a universal sale. you might want to call them and see.

my wife and i have 4 young kids under 10, so we've made use of this membership, and it's especially nice at christmas.
Thanks for the info. I will be getting it there as well then. I have 2 girls under 10. So the $30 gift card def works.

Toys R' Us is offering a $30 gift card if the game is bought there. Think you have to be a Rewards member.

Best Buy is offering 2 films Batman TAS: Mr. Freeze and Mask of the Phantasm and a $10 gift card

Walmart, Best Buy and Futureship EB and Gamestop in Canada are selling the game for 38.83 at a discount war because Walmart started the price drop.

I think someone is discounting it in the U.S. too, not sure who though buts only for 1 day.
Amazon is selling it at $53 with a comic book I think you can add this code 5OFFARKM for another $5 off to make it $48. The PC version with that code is 40.
NFL - Dallas Cowboys, MLB - NY Yankees
NBA - Knicks, NHL - NY Rangers,
NCAABB - St. Johns Redmen (Redstorm)

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)
