im not positive but im using commen sense, what big acclaim game just got released in the last month? anyway this is the whole point, i dont even agree with the suit but if you where a shareholder and they told you that online play was going to be there bingo the sales probably would have doubled, they pulled at the last second, they never gave at least the public a reason why. if your a share holder thats a problem. its a legal issue. you cant advertise and tell people that something is going to be there in any product and then not explain why its not there. Its really no big deal that they dropped online play, but its they way they handled it that might cost them dearly. now this is only if it is about ASB04 i could be way off but i just cant think of another accliam game that came out recently that would fit the bill. i would be shocked if this isnt what there talking about. but i could be wrong we will have to wait for more info.

Actually as far as big games they have released, you can put Legends of Wrestling 2, ASB 2004, ATV Quad Power Racing 2 (selfish promote), and BMX XXX, which ALL failed to live up to the hype Acclaim was putting behind them.

Actually as far as big games they have released, you can put Legends of Wrestling 2, ASB 2004, ATV Quad Power Racing 2 (selfish promote), and BMX XXX, which ALL failed to live up to the hype Acclaim was putting behind them.

speak for yourself, while i care about none of the other games ASB lived up to the hype for me. I didnt even read much going into and wasent expecting a whole lot untill about 2 weeks before released. Im very pleased.

Don't forget the disaster that was Turok Evolution. Man I actually bought that piece of garbage the day it came out. Went back 2 days later. I can't believe how much cash they banked on that game.

People who were casual baseball fans were definitely under the impression that ASB was going to be on-line, we knew because of the info posted here but others didn't. Whether this is what the lawsuit is about I have no idea, But ACCLaim has had some games that really flopped, wasn't VExx one of theirs too. I hope they straighten it out and focus on quality titles and not gimicky crap like BMX.
