    Pondering over Final Fantasy

This guy is selling his Final Fantasy X for a pretty cheap price, would you buy it even though Final Fantasy X-2 is comin' out pretty soon? or should I just wait for X-2 to come out?

Well, FF-X2 is a direct sequel to FFX. You'll want to have played the first to enjoy the second.

And it's one heck of a game ...

So they'll keep the same ppl who were in X in X-2?

Anyway, what the hell is an X-2. What happened to 11.

Pretty much. They are adding a few new characters, byt this one picks up just a few months after the last one left off.

11 is Final Fantasy Online. 12 is a whole new FF game.

No FF game has ever has a sequel made with a continuing story and characters. This is the first. hence the X-2. Final Fantasy X, Part 2.

Have they done anything new with the fighting engine? is it still the turn based engine?

                            Its still turn based.

I sold mine about a month ago for $30. Surprised I got that much for it. But it is a great game, so I would suggest you get it.
