Hitman 5 due in 2010, plot will tie in with movie sequel

Variety reports the sequel to the Hitman film will “contain story elements from Hitman 5″ and that the aforementioned will be out “in late 2010.”

So if you’ve missed playing a wooden bald man garotting people with cheese wire and storing their bodies under flights of stairs then you can start getting excited.

We’ll contact Eidos and see if we can find out more.

Don't know if I'm too happy about it being a movie tie in but I just want a damn Hitman game already. Hasn't really been a true one on next gen consoles as the last was nothing but a port.

I know. Every couple months I'm half tempted to pick it up used at Gamestop for 20 bucks.

I know they love the Kane & Lynch IP, but they need to do a Hitman game right now. That's their moneymaker.

I just remembered when i had the revelation in the hotel level in Blood Money if you broke into a room fast enough you could snipe one of your targets from the room window.

i just picked up the hitman trilogy for like 15 bucks new for my ps3. Well worth it.
that trailer looks fake by the way.

I perfered the case switching and waiting in the elevators. I got confused once and walked out with the bomb instead of the diamonds.

The original trilogy isn't BC on the 360 is it? I have an urge to give them a go. Those games were beautiful. I Just picked up Blood Money the other day. Have too many other games I need to get I to though but I do love me Birman. Was the movie watchable? If the game is decent, I might rent the movie or pick it up on the cheap.

Contracts is BC. The first game is PC only and wasn't put out on Xbox. Hitman 2 isn't BC.
The movie is watchable once.

You must be thinking about a different game. At the time the game looked fine.

Gonna go ahead and +1 this. My memory of playing that game was that it looked good. Was one of the first next-gen games I played, and it sure as hell didn't look like a "bad ps2 game." Maybe it doesn't look good anymore, but at the time it was fine.

On topic: Hitman 5 is #1 on my "most anticipated games" list ... too bad there's still NO INFO on it. WTF ...

I won't say I played the gMe because I didn't. However, I had some time with the demo and remembered that it didn't look too hot, even for a early XBOX game which is why I didn't buy it then. I basically forgot about it until I saw a deal on it that I couldn't pass. I'll save my judgment for when I have it in the system. Looking forward togetting a couple of plays from Blood Money.

I like the Hitman idea but Blood Money looked like a bad ps2 game. I still can't believe how horrible that game looked.

I know this was closer to a launch game but JMood is right with the look. It's pretty PS2ish just as I remember the demo. It plays a while lot worse than I remember. They definitely need to improvethe movement. Looking to what they improve for the next one.
