My hype for this game died and I canceled my pre-order a while ago. Huge Halo fan, even read all the books but just something about ODST, I dunno. Especially with MW2 coming out, this will die a quick death.

Might still get it to play the campaign and firefight with fellow OSers.

Especially with MW2 coming out, this will die a quick death.

For $40 at TRU, you can play till MW2 then sell it for $40. I figure this game will hold its value for a few months.

dam the single player story is pretty good i am surprised the game is kinda tough tho u gotta have some stragety to it.

i didnt like halo 3 was disapointed with it this one imo is better so far the atmosphere is nice.

liking the single player, but it is quite dated graphically. The first cutscene before you drop is lol horrible.

Firefight is the ****! The first few games I wasn't sure about it but then it grew quickly on me.

Have only played about a minute of the campaign before me, ESPNdeportes, ChubbyBanana and EG went in for some more firefight.

I'm about to try some of the new multiplayer maps for a bit, then I'll be down for some more firefight. I'll be up late, probably until about 3 am since I don't have to go into the office tomorrow, so if anybody wants to play send me a message on XBL.

I didnt get any invites but I really want to get a ODST Firefight game going. Beat Campaign on Legendary, Not as hard as the others but we did have 4 people and the Noob Combo (Plasma Pistol + Pistol/Carbine) is awsome for taking down shielded enemies. BTW I like Lost Platoon Firefight map.

me and a friend ran through and beat the campaign on Normal, which was a mistake as it was way too easy. we pretty much just ended up meleeing the whole time.

then me and 2 friends played one of the firefight maps and got to set 4 and 300,000+ points with 15+ lives before we gave up and called it quits. we played that map for 90 minutes.

to Candyman and Flawless, gotta apologize for my roommate, who was the fourth in those firefight games we played. He's actually pretty good at shooters but is completely new to Halo and as much as I tried to explain things to him he still doesn't know what certain weapons do, where to be on a map, how to act against certain enemies, etc.

Also, good playing with EG, ChubbyBanana and ESPNdeporters earlier as well. It sucks there's no matchmaking for firefight so hopefully we can keep it going strong. And a little warning for anybody playing firefight with CB, if he takes control of a vehicle it's probably best to seek some high ground so as not to get run over.
