IGN just had great demo of the game. Really went in-depth about the game and showed the hub world map, which was pretty big. Hopefully they have it up to stream later.

Re: Halo 3: ODST
I'm impressed.
Graphically looks like Halo 3 but you can tell they made some solid adjustments. Things just look more realistic.
Also as I said before, something looks different with the shooting in a good way. Can't wait for this one.
Also I loved Horde mode in Gears and Fire Fight looks great. It seems it will be hard as hell though because we won't be Spartans. I accept the challenge though.

Yeah, hearing them describe Firefight sold me. Loved Horde mode (not much else about Gears but that) and love the Survival mode in L4D. So having it in Halo, bring it on.I'm impressed.

Re: Halo 3: ODST
Said on the latest Bungie Podcast there's 99 rounds in Firefight mode, but you can continue even after that, essentially forever. Nobody has come close to getting that high, even on Normal. Legendary difficulty in Firefight is said to be Legendary+++ and everything is random. Hunters are like boss fights now, since you're no longer the Chief. Mentioned a time (two people were playing together) that they came across a couple Hunters, and they were low on ammo, so they ran for lives inside this building, going upstairs and then climbing this ladder. They thought they would be okay and the Hunters wouldn't find them (giving them a chance to find some more ammo or weapons), but sure enough one of them did, and totally surprised them when it climbed up the ladder. It killed one guy instantly with an attack, but the other guy was able to escape. Also, mentioned how weapon management is going to be a pretty huge factor, not just in Firefight, but the campaign too.Last edited by Flawless; 06-04-2009, 04:42 PM.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment

Awesome. This adds a whole other dimension to the Halo game. As you mentioned when you're a Spartan you don't have to worry about a lot of these things but as a normal soldier, it makes it more difficult and adds strategy to it.Said on the latest Bungie Podcast there's 99 rounds in Firefight mode, but you can continue even after that, essentially forever. Flawless do you know if you die in a round can you be respawned/healed like in Gears Horde mode?Comment
