My PS2 is not working right. Every time I try to load a game up it makes a load clicking, grinding noise or something. If it loads up which it usually can't, then it will get to the intro and then make the same sound and freeze. I called the 1800 number and they person told me that it would cost liek $103 dollars to get it fix over something like 30 business days. WTF! They are kidding right? Its not my fault the damn thing broke! It's hasn't even been a year yet. The guy didn't even tell me what was wrong with it. Does anybody know? Is it the disc read error or something different? Can someone please help.

Go to gamefaqs.com and look for the system board and it will tell you how to clean the laser! -

^ Cleaning the laser isn't that hard, just take the outer shell of ps2 off, take off protective cover of laster, and lightly clean it with a rag . .
Or you can do what I did . . And get an XBox instead of dealing with the hastle !Comment
