Operation desert storm or ghost recon?

Which of these games is better for one player fighting games against the CPU and is either one of them any good? I know the real war is no game, but I get so pumped up watching it that I feel compelled to shoot something and since I don't have Vice City or GTA 3 anymore, I was thinking about getting a war game.

If you don't already have it SOCOM is great. I just borrowed it from a friend last week since I'm a little skeptical of combat games.

Oh, forgot to add that from what I've read Operation Desert Storm is a stinker.

Operation Desert Storm isn't a really good one-player game Bama. If you have some friends over (preferably 3 more friends), it's a blast to play. But i'd look at Ghost Recon probably as a more solid game....don't you have XBL too?

Ghost Recon. It's a great one player game. Once you learn what to do, you'll have a blast. You command your squad and the second squad. They provide you with help instead of just standing there, and you have to play pretty realistic. If you go just trying to run and gun you'll be shot up for sure. nevertheless, it's a fun game, especially on XBL.

Ghost Recon. It's a great one player game. Once you learn what to do, you'll have a blast. You command your squad and the second squad. Yes, I do have XBL. Yeah I think I'm gonna get ghost recon pretty soon, then it sounds pretty awesome.

I've been thinking about buying a war game also in the past few days. After reading all the reviews, I'm going to get Conflict Desert Storm. It appears easier to play and is a third person shooter. I like TPS as opposed to FPS, which Ghost Recon is. I played Ghost Recon on the OXM disk and didn't like it at all.

Ghost Recon is amazing, the other title isn't anywhere near GR. Live play is lots of fun too.
