Sounds great. Played RTCW on the PC and it was a blast. Should be fun.

I hope enough people here get the game then we can have a big OS battle. Playing Moto GP with people from here was a blast.

EDIT: Hmm 4 posts in a row from people in the GTA, lol.

Ok, enough of the Canadian Love Fest '03.

I've played the demo a few times and I can't tell you too much about the levels (Factory and Crypt) becuase I've been getting my *** kicked.

The Crypt is a dungeon-type level with skeletons and the typical 'un-dead' variety of enemies. There are different levers and switches you need to activate and you have to really pay attention because I locked myself in an area and had to restart.

The Factory is more less what is left of what seemed to be a factory. The buildings for the most part are in ruins, so you're actually playing the level outside. The enemies here are the soldiers and they are smart. They attack you based on your position, so you won't get attacked by the same guy in the same manner. A soldier may attack you from behind a pillar and duck back behind it so you can't shoot him, or he may just decide to charge right after you. The turret guns are deadly, if you're hanging on to less than half of your energy and you git hit by hit--you're toast. A nice thing about the AI so far is that you can shoot the soldier shooting the turret gun, or the turret gun itself. If you destroy the turret gun, the enemy will look for cover before he tries to attack you again. You have to look everywhere and even run out into the open and back into hiding to try and bait the soldiers into giving away their location. There was one soldier who was behind me, and I didn't know it because he wouldn't shoot at me until I was attacked by an enemy that was ahead of me.

The demo gives you most of the weapons to start with. A nice feature on the rifles that have scopes are that when using the zoom, if you are walking you maintain vision through the scope---but if you start to run you can't look through the scope and you must use normal vision. You have to keep your aim steady when using the scope on rifles.

The Sten silenced sub-machine gun overheats if you fire too many shots in succession because of the silencer equipped on the chamber. The Snooper rifle has a night vision scope. You can use two Colt pistols at the same time.

Your aim is a circle with a dot in the center and when you point towards an enemy it turns red to let you know that you're on target.

I'll be picking up the full version come release.
