If it weren't for online free-roam, GTA4 wouldn't have lasted longer than 2 weeks for me.

Easily Madden 09. I've never returned Madden after only a week. I will definitely NOT be buying this game next year. I'll rent if need be and heavily read reviews before hand. Just wretched.

Madden should no longer qualify for this honor. If you're not surprised by it being a disappointment for a how long, is it really a disappointment?

About everything besides Fallout3, GOW2, COD5 and GTAIV.


I just expect more from games nowadays. And hey, put the damn things on a flash drive so we can load them off a HD for the next system. The Disc is so archaic.

That would eliminate the entire used game and rental business. Discs will continue as long as there are games because that's how they control the software.

well i guess if i had to pick one it would be Playstation Home. im just eager to see it already. im not really disappointed though but just tired of the delays.

I was disappointed with GTAIV a little bit. The side missions were meh and the game just felt like it was missing something compared to previous GTA games.

I never did finish Ninja Gaiden 2 before I sold it.

SW The Force Unleashed & Madden, can't decide which was a bigger disappointment.

i will decide for you then. Its Madden definitely. Online leagues was more like Online Tournments with no stats tracker etc.... they have had to many years to keep getting things like this wrong. Looks like it all-pro 2k8 for me.

GTA4; Somewhere between San Andreas and GTA4 the fun was lost.....

GRiD; TOCA you aint. and the drifting? please, just stop.

GRiD? Man, it is my favourite racer of all-time. I use it as my demo for my HD gaming set-up when I want folks to get a 'taste' of current gen gaming. I have had no complaints.

I agree with you on GTA though. They could have done it on the PS2.

My disappointment with GRiD comes from how great some of the game is. The drifting aspect was terrible, demolition was a waste, track selection was poor and the cars for the most part left me wanting. 2 touring cars? I cant drive the muscle cars at Le Mans or Spa??
Hopefully GRID 2 will fix some of these poor decisions.

MLB 2k8 hands down...The game was HIGHLY touted by its producer and ended up being so bad the producer was ousted after initial reaction to the game

MLB 2K8-Flawed and glitchy

NCAA Football 09-Flawed and glitchy

Madden 09-Flawed and glitchy

GTA IV-Amazing online play, but story was basic and not as much level variety like GTA San Andreas

Saints Row 2-SR 1 online was better, crappy radio stations, car handling sucks, bad selection of clothes, only 3 voices to choose from.

NBA 2K9-Too many glitches, severe online issues.

CoD: WaW and GeOW 2 have been the best.
