GTA IV - boring, plain and simple.
Mass Effect - pretty but plain
MLB 2k8 - no reason to keep playing
Madden - if my friends didn't play this game I would've broke it in half by now
    St. Louis Rams
    St. Louis Cardinals
    Kansas Jayhawks
    Minnesota Wild

You were disappointed by Mass Effect? Man, that game is the only RPG that had me enthralled from beginning to end since Final Fantasy VII.

I'd have to say Euphoria (Natural Motion). I really thought I'd see something from that technology that really enhanced a game, but with GTA IV and Force Unleashed, the technology did not do what was claimed. Maybe I was expecting too much, but I didn't see the realism that was anticipated.

yeah that's a good one. I thought that it might be one of those "game changer" type technologies but it just seemed like the typical ragdoll physics with a few subtle differences when walking, running, coming to a stop etc. Maybe like you my expectations were too high and it could not be as cool as I had hyped it up to being in my mind.....

I keep waiting for something similar to what i had expected with Euphoria to make it's way into sports games because that's the only way i can see sports games truly becoming "next gen". Untill something like that is implemented we will basically be playing slightly "prettier" versions of the same old games year after year.

Right, and the thing to me is if that's Euphoria, I don't think it will help sports games. The way bodies move looks too loose and almost "bone-less." You have to hand it to them for trying this. Like you said, something needs to happen to where it's not the same old thing with better graphics.

Gears 2 for sure. Everytime I play multiplayer I end up turning my Xbox off in the middle of the match, and I enjoyed the first one online. The Campaign was fun but not really any better than the first one. To me Gears is just a solid shooter, but the majority seem to think it the best series out there.

I hate to say this about a good game, but I have to put GH:WT on the list. I thought this was an automatic buy just because I like music games and have the RB drums to play with, but after my friend brought it over, I was seriously underwhelmed. To the point that I don't even want it. The quality of the song creator was disappointing, the interface felt ungainly and the vocal setup in particular was just got awful. It just wasn't fun. This and Merc 2 were the only 2 games that I was definitely going to buy that I had to turn my back on.

MGS4......bought into the hype when I first bought my ps3. Played it for a bit and then sold it. Not into that type of game that has cinematics every 10 minutes I guess.
