      Because it is so mind boggling difficult. I think most programmers don't even know where to begin with A.I. So many variables that situations just have to be scripted. Having a computer "think" and then actually"react" realistically will be faked for many, many years to come.

              Glad to hear that someone else here used to use BBS's.. I actually ran one for several years in the 90's. Some of my best times come from playing LORD and BRE.

              As for Prodigy, I used to love that service. Hated the per minute charge though.
