    Microsoft Buyout of Sega?

The rumors that are floating around about Microsoft and Sega if there true and i think that they are they buying out The Whole Sega Company or just Sega sports?
It appears that Sony is in trouble if this is true. i also have heard rumors that Rockstar games and Microsoft are talking.
Rockstar has 1 more GTA game to put on the PS2 and then there contract is up. if mocrosoft gets sega and Rockstar sony would have a tuff time competing being that they would only hold Squaresoft as an exclusive.

In other words people will basically have to buy an X box since all games worth buying would be made just for X box? Isnt that creating a monopoly or something?

Well Sony has a pretty big lead in console sales so I doubt they are shaking in their boots.

Well Bill Gates isn't a stranger to building up monopolies. Just look at the litigation he went through. Luckily for him tho a Republican administration came to power and he got off lightly. If Gore was Prez then MS would be in ruins today.

Sony would be fine. They have EA sports all over them. Of course people will cry foul if MS buys Sega, however if any other group would buy them it would be great. Anything MS buys is a monopoly, anything others buy is great.

I think it'll only be Sega Sports that gets bought though if anything at all. I gotta say out of all the buyers for them (EA, Sony, MS), I would much rather MS have them.

So what you are saying is when it was all or nothing with Sony it was ok, but if things change and MS has all the good games we should be ticked because it's a monopoly...
