    RPG Recommendations

I currently own a 360, PS3 and a Wii. I LOVE RPG's but dont know what ones to try out. I currently have FFVII, FFVIII, FFX, Valkyria Chronicals that are RPG's. I also have Fallout3, Oblivion , Had Fable 2, had Lost Oddysey. I was just wondering if you had any recommendations for me. You see above what type of RPG's I like. The turn based but will give a couple Real Time RPG's a try also. Thanks.

Edit: Mass Effect, forgot about that one. :P

If you like turn-based and have never played Xenogears (Playstation) then you're really missing out. Still my all-time favorite game.

If you have not already, get the Oblivion expansion packs. But personally I would just play Oblivion again...

I think I'm going to get FF IV for my DS, maybe the latest tactics as well along with Chrono trigger but we'll see.

                        Disgaea,1 & 2 on PS2 and part 3 on PS3.

Odin Sphere is good but more of side scrolling action game with RPG elements. Grimgrimoire too but that's more of a RTS with RPG elements. Both on PS2.

Gladius is a good gladiator SRPG. Xbox or PS2,not sure if it's BC on 360 though.

Chrono Trigger/Cross for PS1,if you can find them and haven't played them before.

Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne (PS2) is made of pure bad assery so much so it even has Dante from Devil May Cry when it's not even a Capcom game but again good luck finding it. (Some people have been offended by...contraversial religous content)

Any other game with the Shin Megami Tensei name on it is probably pretty good too but I haven't gotten to play Digital Devil Saga or...longest game name ever: Shin Megami Tensei Devil Summoner - Raidou Kuzunoha vs. the Soulless Army,Persona falls under it too though it doesn't use the name anymore.

Shadow Hearts 1 & 2 (PS2) are amazing, there's a part 3 but it's not related story wise. (Again with the contraversial religous content in the first game) There's also an older PS1 game called Koudelka that's somewhat connected to the first game but it's not needed to understand the story.

I haven't played Valkyrie Profile 2 a lot but the graphics are pretty awesome at least.

The Persona series still uses the Shin Megami Tensei name:

This is the best JRPG I've ever played. This would be the perfect game to try out because it's also the best "gateway" game to the rest of the Shin Megami Tensei games. Ever since it was recently reprinted, you can get a sealed copy for less than $40.
