Kevin/Amanda...thanks for letting my wife hop over for a bit. She says she typed some gibberish (and she was laughing the whole time, at that or what you two were saying) but know that your town is bad ***, Kevin's house is awesome (that kitchen is SWEET!), and thanks for everything.
I'm still not planning on buying the mic for one game, especially one that can (and will!) die soon, but I appreciate you guys tolerating our slow, crappy, typing.
Anyway, thanks for keeping the gate open, for the turnip sale, and whatever items she picked up near your gate.
I'm actually quite envious about the layout you did with the Homebrew...it's pretty sweet.
EDIT: Check that, she says Amanda's house is even better. Either way, your town ROCKS!!

Thanks. The Homebrew stuff worked out great, I loved being able to redesign our town a little and add a windmill even though we have a lighthouse. Being able to keep our snow is huge too.Kevin/Amanda...thanks for letting my wife hop over for a bit. Kevin and Amanda,
Thanks for letting me come by to sell turnips last night. You guys have awesome houses and town. I'm not sure I have quite that much dedication yet.

Thanks for the coffee maker, I've got it on my kitchen table now. I've enjoyed decorating my house, I'm thinking of redesigning some areas of it now but I'll have to take some pics of what I have now just in case I want to go back. I really wish there was a kitchen counter to put items on like the microwave, but there isn't a item to my liking for that.
When I was in your town the other night, I looked into your house casey. I think it is coming along good. What's with Layla's house though? It's empty. Is she not playing anymore?

Thanks. As hard as it is, I'm trying not to copy your ideas. I'm trying to set it up like I might my own house. She's funny. She still plays (I just paid off both of our final loans last night), but she's all about making "I love Jimmy Wayne" (you probably saw our flag) designs and such. She does want me to buy her all of the modern furniture so that she can put that in there. I wish she'd go for a different design than mine. It seems like everything she finds or I give her is sold to Nook. I have no idea what she's using the money for because she never seems to have any. I just keep having to buy her stuff. lol a lot like real life I suppose. Thanks for the coffee maker, I've got it on my kitchen table now. On another note, I thought the lighthouse was $1,000,000. I donated that much last night, but when I went back to the desk expecting to be asked which I wanted, she was still asking for money. I assumed maybe I needed to wait a day so I didn't donate any more. I put 50k of my daughter's money in just so she could say she actually helped with something. lol
As much as I keep talking myself out of wii speak, it sure would be nice. I hate when I hear everyone else talking and I'm still sitting there doing the keyboard thing. Takes forever. If I wasn't so busy buying Wii points for downloadable content to Rock Band (all Boston songs are out now...yay) I'd probably buy it.

Re: **The Animal Crossing City Folk Thread (Friend Codes in 1st Post)**
I definitely like the way my house turned out, especially the main floor and basement. Setting yours up similar to mine wouldn't be copying because I just tried to set mine up like a real house, at least the main floor anyways. I went with the red chair and sofa because that's what I have in real life LOL. I didn't want to have a house where you walk in and you are in a bedroom. I wish the rooms were just 4 spots bigger and there were "wall" items so that I could build hallways and stuff. I tried using the screen items for a bathroom but never liked how it turned out.Thanks. What stinks is that you can't order a throne from Nooks, you can only buy it when it is available. I have one throne in my basement in front of the TV, I want another one though LOL.
yeah you have to wait til the next day on that lighthouse, then when you ask Pelly about Town Funds she'll say something about you reaching the limit. The lighthouse is cool and everything, but I think the windmill looks the best. It's too bad that the game forces you to have the windmill on the beach just like the lighthouse. That's why I went with the lighthouse since it makes more sense for it to be on the beach. Of course, then I found ways to get a windmill as well and I could place it anywhere, and voila...

By the way, I think you should buy Layla the new Gracie Grace Princess set, that'll be something different for her house

Re: **The Animal Crossing City Folk Thread (Friend Codes in 1st Post)**
The most I have been able to get from a rock was 8100 bells a couple times with a golden shovel. I've never tried my silver shovel. I might have to try that some time. Are you telling me that you can hit the money rocks with an axe? I thought you had to use a shovel. lol The most I ever get is around 4100 (1 $1k bag, 1 $2k bag and a few under 1k) because you can only hit it so many times with a shovel.
Thanks for the info about resetti. Did you still need the coffee maker or did Justin give it to you? I can give it to you tonight.
Justin, if you need the space helmet back, I can just leave it by the gate.Comment

Re: **The Animal Crossing City Folk Thread (Friend Codes in 1st Post)**
Dang I need to learn to check this thread before I sell turnips. I just sold all my turnips for 191 at my Nook's last night.yep. If you hit a rock with the silver shovel sometimes there will be a special sound and whatever comes out of the rock that strike will be doubled. So it is possible to get a 8000 bell bag from a rock, but I haven't gotten it yet. I have doubled the 2000 bell bag so that I ended up with two 4000 bell bags.
Oh yeah Casey, I saw in your basement that you have turnips. My prices are over 500 AGAIN! All I charge is that coffee maker
I picked up a charm for economic splendor, it must be working! I had a few more new flowers than normal today as well, so that charm I got from Justin must have worked as well although none of them were hybrids today. I'm not sure about the item charm from you. Nook had a spotlight item today, that's two of them in a row, so maybe that is something. I also got different presents from what I normally see out of the balloons today, but they were nothing special.Comment
