agreed 100%.

Its sad that its taken 2 or 3 patches just to make the game playable. And from judging from SOCOM's own website, the game is still "broken". That game should've never been released.

Today, I would like to update you on some of the odds and ends within the 1.30 update.

First, I wanted to mention that the 1.30 update contains fixes for over 100 issues; some big and some small. We've been very busy fixing as many issues as possible in addition to adding the new features contained within the 1.30 update. The 1.30 update is more stable than 1.20, has a lot of the framerate/lag hitches fixed and many gameplay issues resolved. This update should resolve a good number of issues which players are experiencing.

Despite that though, the game isn't fun. Due to the game being "broken" from the get go, its been one frustration after another. They promised so many things, that even to this day, have yet to deliver. I finally sold the game to a friend of mine who is now regretting his purchase. I can't believe that they actually released this game in the state they did. Once the game is finally "complete", I'll think about picking it up again. I am big SOCOM fan, but right now, I have no interest whatsoever in playing that game.

I just ordered a PS3 (should be here on Tuesday) I comes with Tiger Woods 09 and Gran Turismo. I picked up Motorstorm, Resistance 1, Virtua Fighter 5, and Time Crisis 4 (w/ Guncon and sensors) from Half.com. I also got MGS4 from Ebay. I might dump Tiger Woods on Ebay or trade it in to Gamefly for something else. The next 2 I want is Uncharted and Buzz! TV Show.

I would say that should get the games that you cant play on the 360:

- MGS (no matter if you are a fan or not, you must play this game)
- Uncharted (amazing game)
- MLB 08 (best sports game ever)
- Resistence 2
- Socom
