So I managed to beat it in 52 hours while doing everything in the game. Zaeed and Jack ended up dying on me in the last mission, however both were the only two who weren't loyal to me so I suppose its no coincidence. How did you guys manage to get Zaeeds loyalty during his mission? I opted to save the civilians on his loyalty mission and his nemesis got away. I suppose people who got his loyalty went after his target instead? I went 4/5th paragon and 1/5th renegade roughly so I wasn't able to diffuse the situation between Miranda and Jack. Did anyone decide to keep the collector station intact? I'm pretty curious on what happens during that scenario since I'm sure it changes the final outcome of ME2 and possibly the next ME3 game. I'm not really disapointed in the outcome of my game since I pretty much disliked both jack and Zaeed. I try to play the game as if I were Shepard so whatever happens, happens.

I didn't seem to need that much renegade to diffuse the Miranda/Jack situation (but I did fail at the Legion/Tali situation). I did go after Zaeed's nemesis and got his loyalty, and despite being renegade I was still beefing with Cerberus over the Kohaku and Akuze thing (my background) from last game so I blew the whole facility. Besides, you saw that human reaper, **** like that doesn't belong.

Wow that's pretty crazy... seems like there's a lot of variables as to who dies and survives. Maybe choosing an unqualified member to do one of those special tasks can potentially lead to their downfall? I chose Legion to go into the vents and Garrus to lead the squad both times. Samara did the biotic stuff. That's real weird. It would be interesting to see what everyone else got.

Wha? I'm going through Hardcore right now using an adept and I love breaking fools down. I just have to remember to keep my party balanced.

And as far as Grunt, I'm not sure he ever died on me during my first run.

EDIT: NVM, I see now after a quick look at GameFAQs. Nothing like min/maxers to make you see the light lol.

Min/max is an Rpg term for people who do number crunching to find out the most powerful combination of stats and powers and so on.

I just came across a thread comparing the fact the Sentinel is able to have Warp ability on the same level as an Adept, plus the Sentinel Armor.

If someone isn't loyal there's a good chance they'll die. Not 100% but a very good chance that's what'll happen. If you make the wrong choices regardless of loyalty they WILL die. The only random in this seems to be Mordin. People have had his loyalty and have had him die at the door. Myself included,I re-loaded and did something different. Though there's people that didn't have him die at the door and he lived anyway. The only sure way people have come up for him to survive is have his loyalty and then either have him on your team or send him back with the crew.

oh. well that's a bit disappointing considering I was thinking of going through as an adept at some point. I wonder if that's something Bioware would consider patching because the adept is supposed to be Mr. Biotic Bad***.

And yea, unluckily the only forum who really seems to talk about good classes of course are GFAQs...too bad . But in a way it makes sense though. But all I really saw anyways was people saying Adepts aren't good for higher levels . I do like my infiltrator so far...although I feel like the invisi. could last A LOT longer..I am at the 3rd rank atm. Being able to slow mo snipe helps a lot..incinerate is garbage though, at least so far, although I am not sure what rank I am for that. Not sure about what I shoulda done with my bonus talent, I did warp ammo, but it seems pretty useless when you ahve disruptor ammo, might change it to some kind of shield boost.

I loved incenirate. It ate people's armor and it had a quick recharge.

Also, doesn't warp ammo work on barriers while disruptor is for shields and synthetic?

Yup, so maybe I am wrong, haven't played since this morning ...and maybe it is because I am not far in the game yet...just seems kind of worthless. I think it also helps against health and does more damage when they are in some kind of biotic power.

So I'm stuck doing the hard drive swap so I can play with my Mass Effect 1 Shepard.

So far I'm loving the game. I have the Dragon Age armor & the Gamestop pre-order armor, but I don't like running around with a helmet on all the time. Is there a way to take helmets off when wearing the bonus armors?

The level up system is a little weird. Do I get hidden XP for kills or only when you complete a level?

Heads up on a small glitch...

When doing the quest for Ish if you use the paragon or renegade option after picking up the packages it'll stay as incomplete quest in your journal. You have to give him both packages or turn him in to Anto to have it register as complete.
