I started my second play-through last night using the only imported character I have from Mass Effect. That was a paragon character, who I imported and beat Mass Effect 2 with. However, I decided to change his look and class, as well as make him a renegade. Do you think it's better to do that (paragon to renegade), or just to start a new character entirely and play renegade?

I'm really enjoying my 2nd playthrough...ME2 is way more conducive to that, more action and things keep flowing well, plus the renegade aspect is different enough to make it a little new. Got Zaeed, Mordus, and Arch and working my way through things again.

Don't really have any of the tedious things that had me stop playing ME1 again...I'd get bogged down on something and move on to tv or something else.

yeah I am trying to play mass effect 1 again and this crap is starting to get annoying fast. Mass Effect is tedious as all get out. Forget importing, I think I will just do 2 over again from 2 LOL.

That's what I would think too, but if you read through the quote from Casey Hudson, it says:

"Dead is dead. Mass Effect 3, as with the rest of the trilogy, is Shepard's story. If you have a dead Shepard at the end of Mass Effect 2, that saved game won't import into Mass Effect 3, Hudson explained.

So it doesn't sound like it.

Yeah, it doesn't really make sense that you could import a dead Shepard...True, you made decisions, but if you don't live how can you go onto the next quest? The whole aspect of creating a new Shepard overrides all that, because obviously you must have made some horrible decisions since you died

You're not allowed to shoot guns in public anymore so I can't even find a place to try the shotgun to see how it works.

Oi guys what should I get for my infiltrator..don't think anyone answered...tact cloak assassination or enhanced? I think 6 seconds is enough for me to get around...but it seems like the second you shoot your cloak goes away...so I don't see the point of having the damage bonus. Incinerate, was thinking heavy over area, it seems like throughout both game plays there aren't many times where an area effect is useful...mostly only for the end. And also operative, I was thinking agent because the sniper slow down time is long, big enough, and I wouldn't mind better power damage/duration with agent...but I would like the weapon damage bonus.

The ammo or thermal clip thing makes no sense to me. I just started messing around in a second play through with a Infiltrator and I keep running out of Sniper Rifle ammo. So I keep scattering around the field looking for the holy glowing clip. I started thinking if all the guns use a universal clip then why can't I use the clips that I have stored for my other guns in my sniper rifle instead of making me look for new ones.

I think it was just a lame way to introduce a limited ammo system to this game.

Just a random thought.

I liked the assassination.....i'd click stealth and then snipe someone with extra damage. I could usually get away in 6 seconds if I was using stealth to escape.
