This guy right here. I don't know if he played Mass Effect but there are some parts in Star Trek that look like they were taken right from the first game.

Just picked this game up today. You guys on here talking about the game, combined with me liking the first one and the low price I got on it, have me pretty excited to put quite a few hours into this one.

So... I just finished ME 2 a couple of weeks ago, and really enjoyed it. I had not played the first one, and I was wondering if it would be worth it to go back and play the original, or would it not be a good idea because of how much more "polished" ME2 is. Any thoughts?

Play the first one if your willing to play the second with the choices you made converted over.

Yeah. I bought a used, CE copy for $26. It still had the Cerberus download code in the box (and it worked too ).

I couldn't pass that deal up.

Mass effect has deeper stroy than pretty much any game that has come out the last few years. ME 1&2 streamlined story is unmatched. Combine that with the different choices that can turn the story upside down. Goat of video gaming.

Ok guys I need a important question answered. I am going for my second playthrough of Mass Effect 2, What I want to know is: When i beat the game on my second playthrough, what Data will carry over to Mass Effect 3, the first or Second one?

I ask this because I lost too many people in the last mission and I want to give it another go so If the first save counts and not the second, I will have to delete the file...

I have not played the first one and don't have enough time to play both. I just picked up the second but didn't open yet. Can i still have an enjoyable experience even tho i didn't play 1?

I heard the 2nd one has more action in it, so thats why i got it over 1.

Honestly,you should have bought the first one because there are a million references in it in the second one.
