Re: Mass Effect 2
What does it mean to scan planets for N7 missions? I've scanned a few unexplored planets and it looks like all I got was money or something.
I also notice there is like 2 or 3 different currencies. How do those work? I've noticed I'll have 50,000 of something to purchase an item or upgrade and then when I look to buy something else it'll say I only 2,500 of some other credit.
Trying to grasp all this stuff.Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon. Re: Mass Effect 2
There are 3 different type of materials and you mine those when you are scanning the planets.
On some planets you will find an anomaly and you can then land on those planets and explore it. You will notice it and you scan until you find a white circle. The line in the scanning circle points to where it is located on the planet.Comment

I swear I read the instruction manualbut it was quite vague on some these things.

Re: Mass Effect 2
And that is what is used to purchase items/upgrades? So I imagine that for each type of upgrade they all require a different mineral?
Yes you are correct.

I heard about there being a shuttle on the Normandy. Do I need that in order to land on those planets? Or can you land on them with the big "mothership".
I swear I read the instruction manualbut it was quite vague on some these things.
NO, you can just land. I think its X but it will tell you on the screen which to hit.
Hope this helps.Comment

Re: Mass Effect 2
Hint: When you see the scene with the actual shuttle get your butt in gear.
You have it already. It's the load screen usually.

Each one does different things better, bit strange as these things are at least normally consistant.Comment

Re: Mass Effect 2
I've been mixing up side missions while I'm recruiting. When I got garrus I did all the little side quests available in Omega. Then after I got him I went back to completed one more.Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon.
