If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :) -

If you have completed Mass Effect and you still have your savegames, you can view each playthrough you've completed, and choose the one you want to continue from.Comment

Re: Mass Effect 2
No same-character replay for ME2
BioWare has explained that Mass Effect 2 will not allow same-character campaign replays like the original.
"The reason is progression," writes lead designer Preston Watamaniuk on the Mass Effect forum.
"We have been working very hard to make sure we design the abilities system to offer smooth progression into ME3 from ME2. Allowing double progression on characters makes that almost impossible.
"We have to have reasonable knowledge about where a character could end up finishing all content on a playthrough. We also want to offer choice of character build within specific classes," he adds.
Mass Effect 1 rewards campaign victors by unlocking harder difficulty levels. The toughest of these is Insanity, which is received after two runs through the story.
But without same-character campaign replays, a similar difficulty level will need to be rethought for Mass Effect 2, explains lead system designer Christina Norman on the ME2 forum.
"If we give access to insanity on the first playthrough, we need to show that it is possible to beat the game with all classes without any bonuses from achievements. We can't release a difficulty level where it's impossible to complete," she says. "Effectively this means Insanity would need to be easier."
BioWare is exploring "additional dimensions" to making encounters more difficult in Mass Effect 2, over and above simply making baddies tougher. She won't know whether Insanity will be playable from the get-go until further down the development line. She knows Insanity will be tough, though.
"Overall insanity in ME2 will be harder than ME1. That's a heads up for everyone! Beating insanity on ME2 is going to be a real achievement, a badge of honour, get ready," she adds.
Mass Effect 2 is due out for PC and Xbox 360 early next year.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment

Re: Mass Effect 2
You can play the game after the story is done so it's not that big of a deal, it doesn't make sense to have the same character make completely different choices when going through the game a second time. You could only go through the game with the same character twice anyway so I don't see why that would keep people from playing the game multiple times.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. I'm pretty sure I'm on #3 in the first game. I have the medal achivement for 2,at level 59 and I had to go through again to play the DLC.Comment

Never was a fan of Noveria. Felt like they didn't let you just jump into the action like on Feros.Comment

Re: Mass Effect 2
It's very slow, you have 1000 tasks to do, and you face the hardest boss fight in the game. Not something to do at the beginning of the campaign. I had a hard enough time with benezia last time, but I bumped up the difficulty this time. Her cutscene lasts longer than I do.Comment

Re: Mass Effect 2
I will say that I don't find the Benezia fight scene hard (though looking back it is the hardest fight of the game).Comment

Re: Mass Effect 2
For the most part I found all the boss fights to be pretty easy. Hopefully they make them a little more interesting and challenging in the second one.Comment
