what is a good fighting game for xbox?

i was looking at my xbox games and i noticed i'm lacking a fighting game. which do you recommend guys? i'm thinking of dead or alive but i believe it's a little old. but it is good though. what else?

Dead or Alive is fun.

Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance is good too.

And there's a new game out, Capcom vs SNK 2...but I haven't heard much about it...

MKDA is great
DOA3 is good as well
Capcom vs SNK 2 is ok plus it on XBL

MKDA is great
DOA3 is good as well

If you can wait I suggest doing so for Soul Calibur 2, Virtua Fighter Evo and Dead Or Alive 4. From the current content I think MKA is the best fighter, and a good one at that.

i haven't tried mortal kombat. but i don't like the concept of the fatality thing and others. do they still have that on that game. i don't like it because your opponent is dead and it is useless to do the special move like fatality etc when your opponent is dead.

I agree 100%. There is no point to make the killing look all complex, when all you really need to do is walk over and push him down.
