Advise me: What 360 games might I like?

I'm mainly a sports gamer, but occasionally I play some non-sports games. I've got some good shooters (GTA IV, R6 Vegas, Halo 3 - I only play multiplayer on these games, haven't beaten any of the singleplayer), but I was wondering if there are some good RPG type games out there for 360.

FF7 was one RPG I played that I really loved. It kicked serious ***. Characters, story, innovative gameplay, cool materia and stuff... Although they seem to be more popular now, I have pretty much no interest in MMORPG's. Anyway, I wouldn't even know where to start with RPGs on the 360 because I don't think I've played one since FF7. Is there anything that good on the 360?

Final Fantasy Tactics was also a good RPG/Strategy game that I remember playing.

So what do you guys like? Is there anything that may be worth a look for me?

I would suggest Mass Effect. I generally only play sports games and shooters but once I started playing this game I couldn't stop. It's a 3rd-person action-RPG game, it's a lot of fun and if you do all the side quests will take you a while to finish.

I think you'd like Lost Odyssey. It's not FF7 good but from what I've actually gotten to play it's the best RPG of that style on the 360.

Oblivion and Fallout 3(both made by Bethesda) and Mass Effect are good RPG-type games. Fable 2 was also pretty good.

Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey are some other ones, but I have not played either one of them.

if your 360 has internet access and you have Live, you could search the marketplace for RPG genre and see if/how many of those games still have demos you can test out.

Can't go wrong with any of these 3 imo. You can prob get Oblivion very cheap by now so maybe start with that?
