Basically it's the exact same game, exact same graphics, one is just running at a slightly lower resolution.

This is hardly worth the deal people are making it out to be (not directing that at you).

Yeah, and considering that GTAIV did not look bad on the PS3 this should be cool. It just bugs me a bit though that at times......oh well.

Buy it on whichever system you either like the controller more or have more friends playing online with.

That's the only consideration IMO that should be made.

This is exactly it. The differences are so minimal anyway, that, like you said, unless you literally have these sitting side by side, you'd never notice anyway. It's being blown WAYYYY out of proportion.

Just got back from Best Buy.........I took the Toys R Us ad with me which had the $25 Gift Card mentioned if you bought Red Dead. I had them price match, but they took off the $25 from the game......so it ended up costing $34.

I have never seen this work in my best buys, strange.

can you enter all the buildings in this game? Or is it like GTA where you can only enter a certain amount?

I dont have the game yet, but rockstar said a while back that you can enter every building

in fact, they said that pretty much anywhere you can see, you can go

MGS4 is sub-HD and even four years later still sports some of the best graphics this gen.

Just saying.

Anyway, damn you, UPS: "arrival scan" at 8:12 AM, but rest assured it won't be here until like 7PM.

Then after it does get here, I get to install it.

Going to be a long wait, lol.

I have never seen this work in my best buys, strange.

Yeah, I've encountered some best buys where they won't PM at all. This one by my work is very easy going with PM's.

there is slightly less RAM available on PS3 plus they enabled custom soundtracks in this game on PS3 that uses 9MB of game RAM. so when you have a bit less it has to come from somewhere... and the pixel rendering is a little slower on PS3 (Video card) so a slightly slower frame rate. Other games just cut corners in other places (especially linear games compared to an Open world game like this)


they developed each system independently and for 5 years so lazy is not the answer. :wink:

back OT.... the Multiplayer is a LOT more fun than I expected it to be ... cool game modes and great fun

while u have games like the new Medal of Honor and the new Crysis 2 looking better on the PS3 then there counterpart (Xbox360)

also Uncharted 2, God of War III, Heavy Rain are amazing looking games i would probably say the best looking games out this generation but i dont know the resolution to them.

So I just rode my horse off the side of a mountain. It kinda sneaks up on you, the terrain.
