Man, night time, down in Mexico where I know I'm not welcome, and I'm not familiar with the land... kind of creepy, not gonna lie.

The only complaint I have so far is the game seems a tad easy even with having the aiming set to expert. I don't think I have died once. Hopefully the difficulty picks up as the game goes along.

Anybody know how to take a bounty target alive for the greater reward? I try shooting one in the legs but that didn't work.

As a side note judging from the comments in the thread I must be one of the few people playing the game as a good guy. I don't know why but I always do that in games.
      Either
A: Shoot the legs then Lasso and Hogtie him
      or
B: Go into Dead Eye and Lasso him then Hogties him.

      Both work.

I tend to play as the good guy in most games as well. But, I have to say I've been leaning more toward being kind of an outlaw in this game. Not sure why though.

I've been in Mexico for awhile now and I kind of really miss New Austin.

And is it just me, or are there A LOT more animals in Mexico?

I was wondering the same thing myself. One thing about Mexico that music when you get there.

                  Re: Red Dead Redemption

After playing for probably 10 hours the past 2 days, I have only completed prbably 20 missions. I am always getting dirstracted by random events, minigames, bounties, or just riding my horse and exploring. This game might just best I have ever played. Its definitely a contender for my favorite game.

I also just played an hour of free roam. Oh so fun! If it had minigames and the lasso, then I don't know what I would do. That's my problem with it. Online was so fun and we were all cracking up. I have found a true love for throwing knives.

Also, can anyone confrim that there are only two gunsmiths in New Austin? One in Armadillo and one in Thieves Landing.

Great game for anything I want to do in the game expect sex with a whore? HA HA HA But I have not got that far into the game yet? A year after I preordered it and finally on Wednesday I picked it up just to play it. It was and is worth the wait. I can be a good guy and do a mission or hunt, ride a horse all day and all night or, even be a bad guy like in the old western movies. Just Great!!

Just an FYI, you can go back to New Austin for those of you who have moved on to Mexico. There's a bridge that'll take you back, right around the Rio Bravo area. It's a damn long journey from mexico to the thieves landing, though.

Kill Rockstar staff in Red Dead Redemption

Starting from today and continuing until June 1st, Rockstar developers
are offering their heads up as targets in some online cowboy action
courtesy of Red Dead Redemption. Whether you're playing on the Xbox 360
or PlayStation 3 the game is the same; find a Rockstar, kill a Rockstar,
and you net yourself a prize.

The reward? A title achievement or trophy labeled 'Red Dead Rockstar'.
For those who have trouble tracking the Rockstar staff you'll also get
the reward by taking down any other player who's previously killed a
                          Rockstar.

But the prize doesn't end there. For those who have secured the coveted
title, and are members of the Rockstar Social Club, you will
automatically go into the draw to have your mug mapped to a unique
multiplayer character in upcoming Red Dead Redemption DLC.

Traversing the wild west for these special individuals might be a bit
difficult, but Rockstar are making sure you know who to shoot. If you
see any of the following gamertags, stick a bullet between their eyes.
Remember; they're wanted dead, not alive.
