Yep, this game can't come soon enough. So glad I have had it paid off a long time ago.

              Re: Red Dead Redemption

I'm really looking forward to this game. I started reading previews and watching trailers on this after it caught my eye on Gamestop's website a few weeks ago. That brings about a question for the series vets...for someone who didn't play the previous one, would I miss out or be behind on anything?

Yeah, this is really looking like it is going to be great! I hope they have the Clint Eastwood Poncho as a outfit choice. I did see the long trench though, that will suffice.

other then a particular targeting mode, the genre and the name, it's a completely different game built from the ground up on open world (GTA) technology.

They better not delay this game again!
But I guess it's better to delay and fix than to release a buggy game into the wild.

Hopefully everything is smoothed out by May.

Thanks for the responses guys. With that being said this looks like it may be a first day pick-up for me then as it seems like it will be awesome. As I get older I'm starting to get more into the non-sports gaming genre and really starting to see everything I've been missing out on!

                              GameSpot hands on:

GameSpot is the world's largest source for PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, PS Vita, Wii PC, 3DS, PSP, DS, video game news, reviews, previews, trailers, walkthroughs, and more.

This is no small deal, either. The world open to you in Red Dead Redemption is the largest that Rockstar has ever created, and it's teeming with life, both human and not. As you ride around the wilderness, you come across everything from significant towns to deserted shacks, runaway carts, ******* in distress…and even the occasional bunny. The game features 40 different types of creatures, including vultures that circle over dead bodies, lions that roam in the hills, and smaller creatures, such as rabbits, deer, and coyotes. Not only do these various beasties interact in a natural way with each other, but all of them can be killed and skinned (or plucked, in the case of birds), and various bonuses are promised for avid hunters through sharpshooting challenges and collecting skins for clothing.
