Re: Red Dead Redemption
I rented the game on PS3 and never got around to buying it until now...and I sold my PS3 and bought it on 360- kind of sucks that I have to start over all the way to the start considering it took me a day to get to Mexico...although I guess I just won't bother with the extra stuff I did. The game was so damn addicting so I bet I can get back there in a couple days. And I also bought the Undead collection...can't wait to get to that.Comment

Re: Red Dead Redemption
FYI, I think I saw the Undead Nightmare collection on sale on XBox Live for like 400 points ($5)...if I recall that correctly, that's a pretty good deal.Comment

Re: Red Dead Redemption
You know what, the exact same thing happened to me...except I got it day 1 because I've been waiting forever for a legitimate western game to come out (I'm a huge fan of John Ford and the grand old Hollywood westerns). Anyway, all I've done is play sports games for much of the last decade or so, but this game got me back huge into non-sports gaming. I think it's a combination of sports gaming not being as good (due to exclusivity, etc.) or exciting as it used to (except for NBA2k11), and also my re-discovering how good the other games are these days. I haven't even really hit my sports collection since I 100% completed RDR (the first game in a LONG time I can remember finishing, let alone to the uber-dork 100% level!!!).I usually only play sports game as I've never got into a non sports game except for resistance. I was needing something else for christmas as I was running low on ideals so decided to get a non sports ps3 game to get my bye as I played NCAA everyday since release. Its got be hooked on non sports game and now I have a list of about 12 games i want.
Since RDR, it's sort of re-ignited my non-sports gaming joneses, and while I basically used to be exclusively a sports gamer, recently I'm exclusively NOT a sports gamer - mainly hitting Call of Duty and thinking about getting back into the RPG world (Mass Effect, mainly) after a decade-plus layoff. It's kinda fun to re-discover old flames...Last edited by pietasterp; 01-26-2011, 02:25 PM.Comment

Re: Red Dead Redemption
ok dilemma, should i rent the Undead Nightmare DLC or should i buy it for 5$?"on hoping there is a PSN flash sale before Valentine's Day"
I'm sure there's plenty of prostitutes you could pay if you really want vd.Man there are no flashers... now what are we going to do for vd
Depends on what area of a hooker you would use to redeem them.yea but will they take psn cards

Re: Red Dead Redemption
Until January 31st.
Seems like it would cost as much to rent it as to buy, so I would buy it.Comment
