    Re: Red Dead Redemption

Playing poker in Armadillo and I had the chance to finally bust the last guy out on my table. Had a king high straight so I force him all in. He obliges. Turn over the cards and he reveals his ace high straight. Eventually I do some dumb stuff and he busts me out.

This damn game. I've played poker more than I've played the actual game in this playthrough.

I had gaming sessions where that was the case for me too. If anything, I learned how to play poker pretty well because I was kind of clueless on how to play prior to getting RDR.

Same here. I enjoy it more than I used to, but I still sometimes find it to be a chore when attempting to bust everyone out at the different locations (for the sake of the checklists).

LOL! I'm a terrible poker player, so this is usually how the games end for me (and everyone else at the table).

Poker was cool but for me it was all about liars dice. Loved playing that, especially online.

... are absolutely epic. This game did such a great job of instilling a sense of journey. When I met up with Bonnie McFarland later in the game, it honestly did feel like I'd lived a whole other life since she'd first taught me the ropes of herding cattle.

                      Re: Red Dead Redemption

Just took a bounty out at Aurora Basin. One of my small issues with RDR is how, when sneaking up on a bounty hideout, just when I think I'm in perfect sneaking position, Marston will often yell something like, "I'm coming for you!", alerting everybody for no reason and instantly turning things into a wild shootout.

Anyhow, at Aurora, I was actually able to find a sniping location across the lake or river inlet. I plotted my assault from a distance then let loose. Obviously, the second the first shot rang out, everyone began sprinting toward my position (a ways away).

I used my scope to follow the runners. Then I looked ahead to see if anyone was close yet. What do I see? A grizzly, waiting, standing at the midpoint between the running enemies and myself. They don't see him. The first gang member is actually gnashed on the arm by a wolf, halting his progress, which then allowed the grizzly to come in and finish him off. The grizzly, wolf, and my Carcano rifle took turns picking folks off until my bounty slipped through and got within arm's reach, at which point he was tomahawked in the neck.

Wild scene. Kind of Jurassic Park-esque, with the T-Rex coming into to save the day and whatnot.

I was always a tad smitten with Bonnie. I was pleasantly surprised she felt the same way, when I met up with her later. If only I wasn't married.....JOHN! I MEAN JOHN WASN'T MARRIED!! lol

                              More rumors...?

Red Dead Redemption 2 release date has been set along with the confirmation that Red Dead Redemption 1 is going to be released on the PS4, Xbox One And PC if the reports are to be believed.

While Grand Theft Auto is the most popular franchise of Rockstar, Red Dead Redemption has been regarded as one of their best games yet and it's no surprise that they are making Red Dead Redemption 2 right now.

In a report by the Motoring Crunch, they have spotted the profile of senior game developer at Rockstar on a social networking site, it appears that the next game that Rockstar is working on right now is Red Dead Redemption 2.

According to the Motoring Crunch, The senior engineer, Feinstein, revealed that he is working on a sequel to a famous IP from Rockstar. The lad is was part of the team that brought the Max Payne series. Based on the reveal, only three titles are in contention for getting a sequel.

They are identified as Red Dead Redemption, Bully and Manhunt. All three are Rockstar's success stories and they all deserve a sequel. However, Red Dead Redemption is the most popular of the pack.

Red Dead Redemption 2 release date has been set along with the confirmation that Red Dead Redemption 1 is going to be released on the PS4, Xbox One And PC if the reports are to be believed.

Good thing (1) is still keeping me intrigued...it's sooo holding up even w/ all my next-gen games.

Red 2 may be my most anticipated game next to The Division & H1Z1.
