Re: Red Dead Redemption
I come into the Non-Gaming forum strictly to see if there's any news on a new RDR, haha. I don't have a next generation system but I believe I'd make that move immediately if another RDR came down the pipe. Just recently started another playthrough on my 360.Comment

Re: Red Dead Redemption
Same situation for me, exactly. The one thing that could get me to buy a new system is a new Red Dead. Honestly, since there aren't college football/basketball games anymore, my interest in gaming has bottomed-out. A new Red Dead would be about the only thing I can think of that might get me to take the plunge.Comment

Re: Red Dead Redemption
Really surprised it never got a PC launch. I'm sure there's a reason somewhere and I missed it. Most of Rockstars other popular published or developed games have.
Max Payne, GTA, LA Noire, etc...
You can even get Midnight Club 2 on Steam.Last edited by AUChase; 02-26-2016, 09:32 PM.Comment

Re: Red Dead Redemption
Wish I still had my 360, so I could replay this. One of the best games I ever played, and that ending was to damn good that it made me shed a tear. The main character was one of the best I seen in a Rockstar game.Comment

Re: Red Dead Redemption
Fixed that for you.
And you're right, one of if not the best game I've ever played, with probably the best ending to any game ever. Still have yet to feel that degree of satisfaction and (ironically? Pun intended) redemption.

Re: Red Dead Redemption
Let hope the second one lives up to the first one. I just hope it a new character and not Marston son(was the main reason why I stopped playing after the ending). That ending is going to be hard to top through. Even GTA V was nothing compared to this.Comment

Re: Red Dead Redemption
Yep, agree - I think they have to go with a whole new (unrelated) storyline for #2 (okay, yes, I know it's technically #3, but no one really counts "Revolver" since it was pre-Rockstar...). The old west potential is unlimited, as they displayed in "Redemption". Although they did an unbelievable job of covering a LOT of the bases in the first game. Spaghetti westerns, John Ford westerns, "Wild Bunch" style revisionist Westerns, the lone drifter "Shane" archetype. The game had it all.Comment

Here ya go...

Re: Red Dead Redemption
Yes. Mother of God exactly.
Usually, it's a select few unreliable sites reporting false information on an upcoming release. But just Google RDR 2 and it's all over it.
Rockstar typically doesn't do E3, Hmmmmmm....Last edited by Rubio809; 03-01-2016, 11:05 AM.PS5Comment
