I am loving the beta as well and have enjoyed just playing the one map can't wait to see the rest in the final product. This game is far better than MW2 as it feels more military as MW2 has strayed from it.

Same here. I think they're going to release a demo soon, so maybe that's why they cut the beta's time length. My Teams:

Absolutely LOVE the BC2 beta demo!!! Amazing!!!
- It feels like the guns have 'oomph', like they are really being fired
- the different guns feel different,
- the hit detection is good,
- the physics and destruction doesn't seem as flimsy as BC1 and 1943
- the maps are nice and big and open
- the graphics are brilliant
- the sound (needs to be turned up and like BC1 sometimes goes too quite) is generally great
- all the controls and gameplay feel silky smooth
EA have done so well here! And it's only beta! This is the game I'll be playing online for a year or more. Makes COD MW2 feel like Quake...Comment

So this is less arcadish than MW2? Do they announce kill streaks and stuff like that? Can I sprint around with a sniper rifle and pop off head shots while moving?PSN: JISTIC_OS

No killstreaks or perks. Just classes. No you cannot sprint around with a sniper and get kills. The game is basically what Modern Warfare should have been.XBL: DTX3

I've heard the demo is sweet and I have become interested in this because MW2 is all kinds of broken.Comment

How often to you see people running around with sniper rifles doing that in MW2? I've played it a good amount and I've hardly seen it happen.Member of The OS Baseball Rocket Scientists AssociationComment

It's different than COD. The maps are, for the most part, huge. It's far more realistic than COD. No dual shotguns, no perks, just a great overall game.Comment

Okay thanks. After hearing great impressions of the beta if the reviews are good when it drops I'll be checking this game out.Comment

Re: Battlefield 2: Bad Company and Battlefield 1943 announced
Yeah, playing this beta has made me want to play some BC1. If the demo isn't released soon after the Beta stops, I will be playing some BC1.
I think the problem with MW2 is, they have tried to make it too much like Halo. I like MW2 a lot, but this game is a very nice change of pace. But, those damn tanks are still annoying.Comment
