Re: how is splinter cell?
Well, it seems very good, but I've only played it for 2 days. I don't know about replayablility yet, but it seems like a great game.Originally posted by Jay BilasThe question isn't whether UConn belongs with the elites, but over the last 20 years, whether the rest of the college basketball elite belongs with UConn -

Re: how is splinter cell?
Takes about 25-30 hours.
I'd play on Hard from the beginning to stretch it out.
One of the best I've ever played. Esp.for Xbox.Comment

Re: how is splinter cell?
I just got Splinter Cell for the Cube earlier today and after finishing the training level and mission 1 I am ready for some impressions.
Controls
-I think the controls are great and easy to use. The analog stick moves forwared, reverse, etc. The c-stick controls your camera, you can also invert it if you wish. The A button is used to hug walls, B is to cancel command, X is to jump and Y is to crouch. The R button is to get out your gun and then if you tap it again it fires. The Z button turns on your night vision goggles. You scroll through your inventory using the control pad by clicking right.
GBA-GC Connectivity
-This is one of the biggest reasons I ended up getting SC for the cube. So far this feature is everything I hoped it would be. You are giving a full map like Tingle with Zelda. It shows everything in a few inch radius. If you hit B it will 'scan' a larger area for about 6 seconds. You will hear a beep when an enemy is on the radar. Very cool, although I have not used the sticky bomb or turrets yet. However you can control the mines and turrets with the GBA.
Graphics
-I like the graphics but they are not up to par with the XBOX version. I still think they are remarkable and a joy to watch. The levels are different then the XBOX version with a poll instead or a staircase for instance.
Overall
-Its a lot of fun guiding Sam through the levels with my lit up GBA SP. The extra cut scense are also great and help develop the story. You should definetly check it out if you get the chance!
Any questions you guys have ask away and I will do my best to answer.

Re: how is splinter cell?
I just beat the Police Station mission too.
Also, I have both the Xbox and PS2 versions, and the lighting effects on Xbox do blow away the PS2 version's. Other than that though, the PS2 version does look very good.Originally posted by Jay BilasThe question isn't whether UConn belongs with the elites, but over the last 20 years, whether the rest of the college basketball elite belongs with UConnComment
